4 day weekend. yee haw. next weekend i'm going suit shopping with my friend. don't know why, but i really want a suit. i'm willing to spend up to $150 on a decent suit, we're gonna wear them to school and stuff. it's gonna be pretty sweet.

i came home early today, since the school was having a pep rally 4th block, and i didn't even bother going, since you get in more trouble when you go for attendance and then leave when you get called to the gym.

oh, i decided against the green paint for my drums, i think i'm going to go with a white/black theme for them, since i like the way my snare drum turned out.

and i finally realized that at the airport, there's a shop down the terminal that sells all sorts of cigars. i'm thinking about getting someone to buy me a cuban, maybe something a little cheaper first. should be great.

i am soooooooo pissed off. some stupid bitch didn't give me and my friend a lift home, so we had to get a taxi. What a stupid c[i]u[/i]nt. Im soo pissed off & slightly drunk.... she even had two spaces left and was going the same direction, arh...

Finished all my exams! Now I got 3 months off till next semester starts. Maybe I'll learn to play the flute.

I just went and played in the snow with my girlfriend, with a Bjork CD blasting over our outdoor speaker system.

Well this looked like the place for a kinda sorta intro (sorry if im messin with a conversation) The names Jon, from Pennsylvania United States. Ive been playing drums for a year now, im self tought and doing really good (or so im told) my kit sucks bad and i hope to expand it and make it unsucky... but me and my kit have been through the gauntlet of learning so in a sense i love it. My preference in music is metal and hard rock... I.E. Demon Hunter (my fav) Into Eternity, Pillar, 10 Years, As I Lay Dying, KSE, Caliban, etc. This site is cool, and youll probbly notice by looking around im an outgoing guy... so... uh! ... .... and i still think this face is the best!! --->:amaze:

Well I just racked up about 250 bucks so it's time to buy a ride! I want the Sabian Raw Bell Dry Ride but then I ran across the Zildjian Sweet Ride lol. I dunno what I'm gonna pick.

The raw bell dry ride is awsome but so is the sweet. They are totaly different rides though. I would try them both out side by side and see which on you like more.

Yeah GC has them...gonna do it probably Saturday morning when I go to the bank. I'll be purchasing from massmusic though since they're the same price! LOL I love going to GC just to try the cymbals but not buy them.

^ haha ya I do the same thing. I go to tom lee to test cymbals because I take lessons there then I go to L&M to buy them. I know that they won't sound exactly the same but I get a really good idea of the sound.

Hmmm musicianfriends has the same price for zilds as mass....whoever gives me the better deal is a winner.

Everyone, i'm so excited I have a couple friends who might wana buy my old set but I am in the midst of refinishing it probably going to go with a sparkle wrap. I am almost done getting all of the lugs off and then I have to take off the old dusty crap black wraps.... Does anyone know if you have to cut the holes yourself for putting on a new wrap?? And how much does it cost for enough wrap for a standard 5 piece kit minus the snare.... 12 13 16 22.
