they fit the music since it wasnt about the breakdowns yo

they were also like 17 stfu

my old band had better breakdowns and we wrote the majority of our material when we were 16 :)

and im not saying the music isnt all about the breakdowns, im saying the really bad breakdowns ruin the otherwise good songs

like, look at it like this, breakdowns can make or break songs, but for the most part theyre just there

in my opinion, the breakdowns ruin old poison the well

its dependent on how many breakdowns there are in the songs, also, regardless i personally dont enjoy listening to bad breakdowns

so ive listened to the sleeping for the first time since i first got really really into skycamefalling, and ill have to say i definitely like them for reasons other than cameron playing guitar for them, well maybe actually thats why i like them so much

idk the post hardcore parts are good enough for me, the vocals work real well, and well the metalcore parts are ****ing incredible (what else could you expect from a band with ex-members of skycamefalling though?)

like 3 1/2 minutes into "broadcast silence" = ultra eargasm

the sleeping is like, kinda what youd expect after the skycamefalling s/t ep.

still more post-hardcore-y than what cameron wrote previously, even more clean singing in comparison to screaming, slower paced, etc.
