so i managed to severly piss my best mate of last night. he'd been seeing this girl for about a week but i really liked her and it turned out that she really liked me too. so to cut a long story short i stole his woman and now he hates my guts whcih i'm fairly pissed off about because i've known him for 10 years and i really dont wana loose him as a friend. any suggestions on what to do?

I could see if it were years, but it's not like they were life mates.
