Boards of Canada - Music has the Right to Children

I love Telephasic Workshop and Roygbiv.

Little Man being Erased 04-27-2006 07:25 PM
Ted Leo & the Pharmacists - Hearts of Oak
I'm digging Gnarls Barkley. "Smiley Faces" is probably my favorite.

ATM 04-27-2006 07:51 PM

I need to cop that Peeping Tom

Anyway, I really like Mr Lif right now, as well as The Wedding Present, with a little Bad Brains thrown on top.

And of course MF Doom, hence the avatar.
I was shocked when I heard Norah Jones say things like 'keep it in your pants' and 'mother****er' on it. The collaboration with Massive Attack is a standout.
yeah, weirded me out too. it works, though.

Frank Zappa - Cruising With Ruben & The Jets
Busdriver - Fear Of A Black Tangent
Peeping Tom - Peeping Tom

Gnarls Barkley - St. Elsewhere

Daniel! 04-27-2006 10:44 PM

Uncle Tupelo - March 16-20, 1992

My first listen to this band and I love it. This is pretty much the first time I've heard modern country music done right. The only downside is that if I get stuck listeneing to Toby Keith at my cousin's house again (they love him), it will be 100x worse.

edit: I think I might have to get a harmonica because of the totally sweet harmonica lines in Moonshiner.

Little Man being Erased 04-28-2006 04:04 AM

Pulp - Different Class
Sleater-Kinney - One Beat
Weezer - Pinkerton
The Flaming Lips - At War With the Mystics

I've decided that At War With the Mystics is friggin sweet.

And now The Streets again.
Anyway, I really like Mr Lif right now
Which stuff are you listening to? His new one leaked, not quite as good as I Phantom, but maybe better than the Perceptionists in my opinion.

Me, I've been digging Broadcast. I've always wondered what these people were like. Turns out they're a bit like digital pixie stix.

Zappa 04-28-2006 05:36 PM

I have caught the Gnarls Barkley love bug as well. Oh my.

I'm digging "All Mixed Up" by Red House Painters. Can someone tell me what the best album to start with is?
is it on the internets anywhere?
Not that I know of. I recorded it off TV last night.

BillCosby 04-28-2006 09:02 PM

so then put it up on the internets

br3ad_man 04-28-2006 09:05 PM

Little Man being Erased 04-28-2006 11:46 PM

You can get it from me on soulseek if you can put up with a fucking slow connection.

Little Man being Erased 04-28-2006 11:53 PM
