The first full length from Kampfar is my favorite from them :P I wanna here the EP sometime. I'm downloading more Belketre atm, since their side of the spit with Vlad Tepes ruled.

I've always preferred Vlad Tepes.

Drowning the Light is shitty melancholic stuff that has been done 1000's of times. The first few Gehenna releases are pretty good.

I listened to the sample and it seemed average to me, I think I will give them a pass.

Pretty much typical riff-based drums/guitar/vocals/bass metal, with a lot of black influence and some pagan influences as well. Worth a try, if you're new to black metal, this is easily one of the more accessible bands.

First Spell is great, the first EP is good aswell. The first song is my favorite off of First Spell.

First Spells production and overall sound remind me of Dimmu Borgir's "For All Tid".

I think I'll look into First Spell, it sounds good.

Today I went out on a limb and downloaded the Isafjord demo, I was interested because they did a split with Nest and it actually turned out to be pretty sweet.

I only have Woodsmoke from Nest and I love it, great atmosphere.

Hidden Stream is my favorite from Nest
