Excellent!

Anyway, I am out, everyone. Some math course work to finish, and then I am going to sleep.

Goodnight.

One Groovin Clown 10-20-2006 01:53 AM

Still worried about my recent purchase. :(

Pretty good.

My left wrist is hurting when I bend it back, odd one that.

One Groovin Clown 10-20-2006 01:57 AM

Last Saturday i bought Tri3ze;s TRB6, he emailed me saying that it would be shipped on the monday. I replied back asking how it was being shipped and the tracking number.

His email back stated that he had been out of town, and that he'd send me the information first thing tommorow(Tuesday) morning.

We'll know it's almost friday and i still havn't got word back from him. I re-emailed him back this morning(thursday) again asking for the tracking number and how it is being shipped.

I sure as hell hope i havn't been screwed out of my money.

:amaze: bizzare... i have another show tonight with the stage band, woot.

OGC: i don't really think he'd have jipped you, but there's always risks attatched when buying online.
i remember when i bought my 2nd bass online and i didn't hear a word about it for about a week. and then the guy emails me saying they sent it back to him, i didn't believe him.. but it arrived the next day with a free set of strings! woo!

Yea, This is my first online purcahse over ebay so i guess i'm a little worried about my bass.

Granted, he'd had lots of positive reviews and even sent videos of the bass for me.

Let's just hope for the best.

Anyone around?

blizzard 10-20-2006 03:54 AM

I'm around... How are you Kilian?

kilian 10-20-2006 03:58 AM

I'm okish.. I need to kick myself to make an assignment, but officially the vacation has started already. It's just that my group forgot to do one thing for a course >_<

You?

blizzard 10-20-2006 04:00 AM

Sucks about the assignment... I too have a lot of assesment now, I finish school forever in about a month which is awesome. Also me and my girlfriend broke up... it did upset me but not as much as I thought it would and we're still friends :).

kilian 10-20-2006 04:04 AM

That's good and bad to hear. What are you going to do after your school?

blizzard 10-20-2006 04:07 AM

Most likely Mech Engineering. I've also been asked to play in a backing band for some virtuoso 23 year old guitarist which should be interesting.

kilian 10-20-2006 04:10 AM

Sweet about the band! Although I hope you don't make your profession out of that, don't you? I mean.. Then you will totally depend on him :p

Any other bands you're in at the moment?

blizzard 10-20-2006 04:16 AM

Well at the moment I still play in the school bands.. so I play electric bass in Jazz Band and Symphonic Band and Double Bass in Orchestra and String Ensemble. I have my own rock band even though we really don't get to play together as often as I would like. I have to play in another rock band for a school thing this friday (its an interhouse competition so its pretty much my normal band but with a different guitarist). And then hopefully I will be playing in this backing band, I'm not too sure exactly what we will be doing but from the sounds of it, it will be mostly practising/recording.

O BTW the guitarist is female :amaze:

kilian 10-20-2006 04:19 AM

Ah and you're single! :naughty:

Though, having a girl in the band is never wrong! I can actually better get along with girls then guys. My band is finally having some gigs. We've got 5 in November :p

blizzard 10-20-2006 04:26 AM

Thats great that your band is getting gigs, if I wasn't separated by a very large expanse of water I might come watch you guys. Hmmm she's 6 years older than me and I've never met her

kilian 10-20-2006 04:28 AM

You never know.. You never know.. ;)

Yeah distance is a killing fact. *puts that in a song*

My girl also lives 2 hours by train away from me.. The positive thing is that I'm going on a little vacation with her mother, little brother and her tomorrow! And tonight we're going out in her town with some friends of her. Yay!

Nice, just as long as you get a long with her family. In the 2 months or so I dated my gf I met like most of her family... Her immediate family (the parents were the only ones I didn;t already know a bit from school) and their respective partners, her cousins family, her other cousins family, both sets of grandparents, a set of great grandparents. Luckily I got on really well with her family... in fact one of my assignments I'm actually working in a pair with her brother

kilian 10-20-2006 04:38 AM

Ha that's cool! It's great to have a good connection with the family, yes. I've only met her parents, sister and little brother yet.

Her sister is in a really good band though! Her band is growing super fast nationwide and is already signed by Universal :amaze:

Listen to One of these days :) They are a bit jazzy, but still poppy enough to make it big!

blizzard 10-20-2006 04:54 AM

Thats nice, they remind a bit of jazzier Jamiroquai with a female singer. Keep on good terms with her and maybe your band will be the next to get signed :thumb:

kilian 10-20-2006 05:00 AM

That's not what this relationship is about! tsk. ;)

But I'm off to pack my bags!

blizzard 10-20-2006 05:11 AM

Bye, have fun.

blizzard 10-20-2006 07:40 AM

Woah you say Heya, maybe its a South African thing... I've only really encountered you and my ex who used heya (shes SA).

It is a coloquialism.
