the whole point is we all have our tastes in music. Even if mappy's band was actually good, or frankies vocals weren't cringe-worthy it's still not good to me because I don't like the music. I can recognize it's not awful, but still not something I'll want to listen to. I like mappy's death growls, but his default metalcore vocals suck ass to me and his highs are faggy

I agree with your first point. Your second one, obviously is your opinion, but that's not to say that even because you dislike a certain genre, there aren't artists out there who are good at what they do. I don't care for alt. rock and country, but I can recognize that artists such as Chevelle or Johnny Cash are good at what they do.

I was willing to give it a chance (the name turned me off initially 'cause I hate those kinds of names for bands) but I really didn't care for it. I couldn't understand your vocals (which I guess you could say is attributed to the type of vocal used in the genre, I'm assuming) and everything just seemed like it was "fastfastfastfast" I couldn't really get a sense of what was going on.

Maybe if I was attuned more to that type of music/genre I may understand better.
