Oh no Jimmy, its not about doom. Usually its a high pitched womans voice, sped up with an MC talking really fast over the top of it. Heres a very effective and common lyric used in rave.

i saw it. i thought they ruined the original by trying to make this one way too child-friendly. try to count all the immature jokes directed at kids no older than 8.

Just the idea of a re-make is runing that classic film, nothing can replace the first one gene wilder as wonka was the best there is.

they totally ruined the oompa loompas by having them sing multiple songs and talking. and they took away wonkas flute and now he just goes "woodle woodle blah blah weeeeee" or whatever.

Yeah Gene Wilder was waaay better as Willy.

The flute was probably one of the best thing about the movie. Now that he just say random **** it is some much stupider.

i agree with jim, except i did like edward scissorhands. it could have been done better i admit, but i still thought it was good. and pee-wee's big adventure, come on, you gotta love pee-wee.

Yeah, Ok, A very small minority of his work, such as the Batman films etc., weren't so good...but come on....'Edward Scissorhands', 'Sleepy Hollow', 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' (Which isn't my FAVOURITE film, but was still not bad), 'Frankenweenie' (Which always makes me cry)....]
The problem created now, In my opinion, is that he remade a classic....and you should NEVER remake a classic - 'Dawn Of The Dead' being a prime example....
