I can't really write songs as i can't play guitar but you know sometimes you think of how they'd go in your head? Anyway i just try and vary it a bit, maybe start off with just bass and drums or something or a drum solo or something different depending on what sound you're looking for

I tend to get an intro down on paper on bass, then when mu guitarest comes up we make a verse and chorus and interlude and stuff.

Never actully rote any lyrics though for the music.

I write guitar - vocals - bass , and then add the drums. I love writing acoustic songs, and then rocking 'em up at band practice!!! :D

Never actully rote any lyrics though for the music.[/QUOTE]My band mates really are poor at writing though, so I have to write everything myself. The vocalist is a Beatles/Elvis Presley fanatic, the guitarist is obsessed with The Strokes, and the drummer can barely play :upset: :angry:

My guitarest is good, even though hes only been playing about a year, but hes good and can come up with some good riffs, then i get the root notes and either keep them or try and modifie them.

Well the bass is easy as it just plays the guitar's core notes, right? I would sometimes try and change it up a bit (especially as a bassist :p ) , so everything is a bit different and everything doesn't blend in together

lol im in a 4 piece set at atm 2 guitar bass and drums, and i we wana go to 3 but dont know how to get rid of the rythem guitarest.

He rote tabs, they were so bad he made us record them and they didnt sound right at all.

We need a drummer though.

I want to get rid of our makeshift rhythm guitarist and the singer's girlfriend... she doesn't do anything.
