Another thing is that I buy the most expensive cigs on the market. They do taste good.

Robert Crumb 02-01-2008 07:31 PM

Can we post youtube videos about squids too because man

Liebensaft 02-01-2008 07:32 PM

That is just pushing it.

Anxious 02-01-2008 11:19 PM

I'm so happy that I saw Om before the drummer left and canceled the tour.

Al seemed like he was pissed off the entire show, plus those guys have been playing together for more than 10 years now. Very odd.

Liebensaft 02-02-2008 12:02 AM

Whaaaa. They played here. It was 21+. I wish I was there.
Can we post youtube videos about squids too because man
I was on a ferry once and I was at the breakfast place and they had orange juice and there was a bar over it with a picture of a squid and I saw really loudly "mmm, freshly squeezed squid juice" and everyone looked at me.

Liebensaft 02-02-2008 11:51 AM

Weirdo.

ATM 02-02-2008 12:38 PM

Giant squids rule.

This one time, my family was watching MST3K with another family and then afterwards we watched a really bad movie on the sci-fi channel about a killer squid. My dad, with newfound wit after watching MST3K, yells out "Squid snacks!" after some people fell off the boat.

seamantis 02-02-2008 02:34 PM

does mst3k stand for something?

asdf 02-02-2008 02:36 PM

mystery science theater 3000

ATM 02-02-2008 02:44 PM

I thought it was a good story.

Montana 02-02-2008 10:51 PM

Did you see the mst3k with the Killer Mantis? That was sweet.

ATM 02-02-2008 11:14 PM

Yeah that one is excellent.

dei 02-02-2008 11:28 PM

I've never seen MST3K.

<3<3<3 02-03-2008 11:33 AM

What's it called?

perriwinkle 02-03-2008 12:37 PM

it's called Bee Hives it's a 9 track (8 song) release of material from the You Forgot It In People era, which is really what sealed the deal for me because that is definitely my favorite time for BSS. also, it has 4 songs over 7:00 long!!!! including a 7:35 version of Lover's Spit. i'll rep you soon how's that

Doctor D. 02-03-2008 01:50 PM

Saw Ween last night, fuckin' ruled. Hard.

ATM 02-03-2008 02:26 PM

What was the set list like?

Doctor D. 02-03-2008 04:46 PM

It was a solid setlist, they had a better selection this time I saw them. They played a hand full of La Cucaracha songs (Your Party,Object, Learnin' To love, and With My Own Bare Hands). They didn't draw from their early albums(Oneness,The Pod,Pure Guava) too much. They did the best songs off of White Pepper (Bananas and Blow, Stroker Ace, The Grobe). Also did a bunch of The Mollusk stuff, which is more than great. And a shit ton more that escaped my head right now, but I can say Johnny On The Spot was the definte highlight. They breathed new life into an already awesome song.

ATM 02-03-2008 04:55 PM

Sounds badass, I'd like to see them someday.

Liebensaft 02-03-2008 05:32 PM

Some of my friends went to see them recently. And like...three of my teachers. I didn't get to go because I had work. My friends said they played for like three hours and all of the teachers said it was great too. My friends ran into one of those teachers, and he was all drunk and said I was a bitch because I wasn't there. True story.

I wish I saw Ween.

Bordello 02-03-2008 06:42 PM

their live dvd kind of sucks

Anxious 02-03-2008 07:10 PM

I just won two tickets to go see Dead Meadow on Tuesday from some site. The question was "What band had a member who headed the label that their first album was released on?". It was the bassist from Fugazi.

YDload 02-03-2008 07:16 PM

i thought it was MacKaye

Anxious 02-03-2008 07:46 PM

Joe Lally

Kind of a atypical label for him because it dissolved pretty quickly and had weird metal/stoner bands.

YDload 02-03-2008 07:53 PM

oh i didnt know you were talking about Dead Meadow

ATM 02-03-2008 10:10 PM

That's sweet. I still need the new album, even though you guys say it's not very interesting.

ATM 02-04-2008 12:16 PM

Zappa was banned?
