Yeah, same here. I wouldn't have a problem with it if it was another MOP, Load/Reload, or St. Anger. I like [I]all[/I] of their albums, not just the early ones.

Wow so not only are we paying for their, most likely, over-priced cd when it comes out, but we're paying even more to find out when their over-priced cd comes out. I feel sorry for the saps who paid to find out the release date of St. Anger when it was still in question.

The whole "Metallica only wants your money" thing is getting really ****ing old. Yeah it's kinda lame that they do most of their stuff nowadays just to get money, but when your proposed with ideas from managers and stuff to score more money, any average person would go for it. We know Metallica is doing a lot of things only for the money, get over it.

Who says Metallica are doing it for the money? They have enough as it is. A LOT of money. I doubt they're still going doing world tours and whatnot to get even more. I think thats absurd.

I wouldn't say they're doing IT for money, but they are doing a certain of things with only money in mind. Things like only putting certain news in a magazine that you have to pay for etc...

Things like touring and making records is an exception.

Well just for the record, that was my first, and probably only rant of the "Metallica only wanting our money" variety. I figure i'm entitled to at least one having contributed to Metallica's wealth in the past. ;)

yea. their fan club should be free. their magazine maybe not free, but very cheap. and they just got off a world tour :thumb:

They can charge whatever they like for their fanclub , but only releasing info about their current status to paying fan club members is a bit too b[font=]a[/font]stard-esque for my liking.

I was just listening to the radio and there was a quote by james on there. He said that they were hitting the studio, and the dj said we should have a new metallica album by 2006.
