Hatebreed have the occasional song good for simple heavy music, especially if you like a big mindless shoutalong chorus.

Mindless Self Indulgence get severely annoying very quickly. I Hate Jimmy Page is a good (funny) song, though.

The Flaming Lips I've only got two albums by (The Soft Bulletin and Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots), and they're good. I don't think they quite reach the level of genius many seem to accord them, but when they're good, they're really good. Just not consistent enough (within each album).

Metalcore is such a hit and miss genre, it's as bad as nu-metal with the ratio of good to bad bands.... maybe even worse.... A7X is really good, Unearth is meh, FATA is OK aswell, and if you consider Circl Takes The Square metalcore, they own as well, if you consider them emocore, they still own.

Go to Burger King, and ask someone if you can buy 1 chicken tender for 25 cents, tell them that you really just want one, it's pretty easy to persuade them, people who work at fast food restruants aren't the sharpest tools in the shed.
