Okay guys I was given all this Megadeth by a friend and too be honest its not really the first thing I really wanna listen to. I like Rust in Peace but haven't gone far beyond that, could somone tell me what I can delete. I can't be bothered to find out for myself. Assume I have everything apart from Risk.

The first four are all you really need.

Cryptic Writings isn't anything special. I'd say it's all worth a listen though

I say the first 2 are the only ones you need. Straight downhill after that with the odd good song here and there.

Going to see Slayer and all the crappy bands they're touring with today... good times!

Hopefully Slayer will make up for crappy supports with some old-classics in th set list.

The only post-RIP Megadeth worth listening to is CTE. There's a track or two on Youthanasia, but as a whole it's only average. Oh yeah, and TSHF is worth your time.

No way! As commecial as everyone says CTE is, I still personally found it to be a great album.

NP: Kreator - Endless Pain

CTE is great. I think that Megadeth all the way to Youtanasia is great. Then just songs here and there.

I haven't heard anything after RIP and before TWNAH, besides the odd song here and there.

Countdown is definatley worth a listen

Yeah, Ashes In Your Mouth is a killer track. I really like the title track as well, though not many other people seem to.

I've heard Ashes In Your Mouth and of course Symphony Of Destruction. Good songs.

That album really isn't about speed, but the riffs and melodies are very well developed.

NP: Nocturnus - Alter Reality

If you have not heard either of this band's first two albums. I defecate on you

I have heard [I]The Key[/I], it's pretty good.

Check out the second album [I]Thresholds[/I] it's insanely brutal, but very technical and melodic. Think of a more Neo-classical and epic version of [I]Piece of Time[/I] with [I]The Key[/I]'s vocals and less emphasis on bass.

I love the melody during the chorus of CTE. And the little harmony part in that same song. And the harmony solo in Ashes In Your Mouth. I get goosebumps every time I hear those three parts.

Yeah, that harmony part in Ashes is awesome, right after that part there's that awesome little bass fill too. Good stuff. I'm still really looking forward to the new one.

NP: Iron Maiden - Seventh Son of a Seventh Son

I can't listen to Megadeth at all. Mustaine's voice is horrid, but you're band, Treason, is pretty damn good. I added y'all.
