I like hardcore and emo though so this subforum is really good. I check out most of the hardcore bands recommended and i'm getting into quite a bit of emo based on the bands you all talk about.

I guess you could hardly call me a regular though. I stopped posting a lot last year. I've managed about 200 posts the whole of 2006.

If there was an emo subforum it would attract noobs wanting to discuss My Chemical Romance, this way its hidden in the punk forum and it puts most people but not all of them off.

But i still support the idea.

same here. ive discovered so many amazing bands i would never have heard of if it wasnt for this forum. never used to post much, just read up. as grateful as iam, this place is fine the way it is. internets is internets at the end of the day.

ps. definitely not for splitting the forum although i can understand the reasoning. i just think without the hardcore doods (many of which like a lot of the emo bands, and i think a lot of the emo doods also like hardcore bands) i think it would be very slow and probably would be better suited as aim chats or something

There's nothing stopping people posting in both emo and hardcore though. Just the people who dont like emo will be less inclined to act like tools in the seperate forum.

and honestly i think that they we are generally as much tools as they are or even more on a whole, niko gets a little out of hand but i honestly don't think any of the others are tools at all.
