I've been thinking of buyong a 5 set of blues harmonicas.

ya you can buy them in all different keys, which is a hassle because you might end up buying several if you wanna play in several keys. they do have chromatic type ones though, but they are different to play. mine was five bucks, and it doesn't have a key that i can recognize, so i assume it is supposed to be chromatic. unlike the usually eight holes, mine has sixteen little ones.

i admit i don't know much about harmonica so if all my information is wrong, somebody correct me.

magicbus 11-29-2004 08:11 PM

I really want to get into it. That and slide guitar. I'm getting a new acoustic soon too. I'm looking forward to expanding my instrumental horizons.

lunch998 11-29-2004 08:12 PM

I have a harmonica that I mess with sometimes, no idea about the key or anything. After all, I'm still just a drummer.

smart man. play some delta blues, sing about how your old lady left you.

by the way...does anyone else find the dog howling in Seamus very annoying?
(meddle/pink floyd)

magicbus 11-29-2004 08:14 PM

Yea thats the only song I don't REALLY like on Meddle. Its alright.

And I have a slide too, I just don't know how to play that well. I meant that and pedal steel guitar.

I actually kind of like it. Not that you need to listen to anything past "One of These Days" on that album.

Broken Arrow 11-29-2004 08:16 PM

I think Meddle is underated.
