Well, no sooner did we come third in the BOTB (Saturday night) that today (Monday), we've been asked to play a 20 minute slot opening for a gig on tuesday the 15th (8 days away).

Not bad for a band that's only 4 months old, and have had their singer 9 days, no?

The emergenza organiser for my area called today and left me a message, but I won't be turning up to the meeting as we shall not be playing Emergenza this year.

Apply early and you'll get given a ton of free ernie ball strings, drum skins, sticks, pics, cables e.t.c.
Which will cover a fair bit of the 45 pound enrollment fee.

My band's amazing too, except we're still having problems getting gigs (no demo, we can't afford to make one :upset: ) and we've only been around for two years (except our bassist only joined four months ago).

Still, we have about 10 songs :D

Some parts are, especialy with the commenwelth games a few years ago which generated a load of cash which was invested into making manchester all nice.

Its the centre mainly, on the out skirts the scallys have just destroyed.
