Elf is terrible

Kage 11-18-2007 07:48 PM

I agree.

I'd rather watch real Christmas movies.

Darkness 11-18-2007 07:48 PM

Yup it is.

Except for when he gets hit by the taxi.

Iluvatar 11-18-2007 07:49 PM

Kage, watch "A Boy and His Dog". Great flick.

Deth 11-18-2007 07:50 PM

I've never seen it actually.

A Christmas movie I do want to watch right now is A Muppet Christmas.

PinkFreud 11-18-2007 07:52 PM

How was Tideland? I still haven't seen it.

Running Scared
Ratatouille
Caligula
Jacob's Ladder
Identity
Ed Wood
Videodrome
Event Horizon
Audition
High Tension

Caligula wasn't a real suggestion.

Stormrider 11-18-2007 07:52 PM

Christmas Vacation is where it's at.

Eliminator 11-18-2007 07:53 PM

guys you seem to be forgetting the one good thing about elf

Deth 11-18-2007 07:53 PM

Shut up and watch more Muppet movies Jammie.

gmoneyguy 11-18-2007 07:53 PM

Caligula is good for blood and tits.

Iluvatar 11-18-2007 07:54 PM

Is Audition still up in its entirety on youtube? I might watch that again tonight. Good movie.

Kage 11-18-2007 07:55 PM
Kage, watch "A Boy and His Dog". Great flick.
I'd like to...don't know if I'll be able to get it today though.

Tideland was pretty good.

superpeer 11-18-2007 07:56 PM

Kage doesn't want to watch a movie, he just wants to show off how many movies he has seen.

Aakon_Keetreh 11-18-2007 07:59 PM

Such a great movie.

There are a few torrents of it floating about I think. I have an old vhs copy where the first 5 minutes are all fuzzy :(. Need to find a dvd release.

LifeInABox 11-18-2007 08:00 PM

Ok. So this girl I really really like who I have been friends with for 2 years has really been occupying my thoughts lately and I feel like I would be far happier with her, but I don't want to **** up our friendship forever by it, but I feel like it would be good for both of us. Suggestions/anythings? I'm going sort of crazy trying to figure her out and I would love to be closer to her than now in a serious relationship.

Helpz?

Iluvatar 11-18-2007 08:01 PM

WAIT TILL YOU HIT PUBERTY

itll probably make things less complicated!

Aakon_Keetreh 11-18-2007 08:01 PM

Go for it nig.

Kage 11-18-2007 08:02 PM
Kage doesn't want to watch a movie, he just wants to show off how many movies he has seen.
>.<

I think I'll just re-watch an old Bergman VHS or something.
There are a few torrents of it floating about I think.
I can't use torrents on campus unfortunately. I am going to download a shitload of movie when I get home for Christmas break though.

Haha, a Bergman video? Now that's artsy. =D

If you want to stay friends with her, I'd recommend not going out with her because she'll probably realise just how much of a douche you really are and stop talking to you.

Let her make the first move tbh.

superpeer 11-18-2007 08:05 PM
Let her make the first move tbh.
Girls don't make moves. They give ambiguous and confusing might-be signals. Duh.

Transient 11-18-2007 08:06 PM

Yeah I was just trying to hide the fact that I have never been with a woman by giving out generic, incorrect advice.

Kage 11-18-2007 08:07 PM
Haha, a Bergman video? Now that's artsy. =D
It's the only way to watch.

And, yeah, a girl will not make a move.

Hbp I don't think you have any choice but to go for it. Ask her on a date and tell her how you feel.

Thanks faggot. I appreciate your help in this situation, but Jelle is correct. You might know that if you weren't ghey.

Just kidding.

But not really.

Iluvatar 11-18-2007 08:08 PM

I'd take her to the zoo really.

superpeer 11-18-2007 08:09 PM

They're evil creatures.

Anyways, I'm going to read/watch a movie and be horribly exhausted at band practice, whereafter I might loot the whisky stock from bandpracticeland.

kbi

Angmar 11-18-2007 08:10 PM

Kage is right, if you never ask her out/tell her how you feel you will probably regret it for a very long time. Even if it does involve the risk that she doesn't have the same feelings.

Transient 11-18-2007 08:10 PM
You might know that if you weren't ghey.
Once this chick rejects you, you'll realise that men are a lot easier to figure out and go gay like me.

Iluvatar 11-18-2007 08:12 PM

Has anybody ever thought that maybe Hbp isn't like a total tool in real life?

Eliminator 11-18-2007 08:13 PM

hbp you shouldn't have a girlfriend when you're in 8th grade
Has anybody ever thought that maybe Hbp isn't like a total tool in real life?
does not compute

Kage 11-18-2007 08:13 PM

Once he gets older and realizes that post metal is trendy, he will be better.

if you want to keep the friendship then you really can't do anything. if you want the relationship that badly then you're going to have to make a move, then back off for a little while and let her come to you.

I've found that in general (again, it depends on you and depends on the girl) you can't have the best of both worlds...once you try to make the move to a relationship it usually turns into all-or-nothing.

but the fact that you asked this on an internet forum tells me that you'll just **** it up anyway

Kage 11-18-2007 08:18 PM

I really wan to see Cowards Bend the Knee.

And there is the answer.

Kage 11-18-2007 08:24 PM

No, Deth, nothing Ray ever says is right.

Deth 11-18-2007 08:29 PM

:-/

But this is about Hbp being a failure, so I don't know what to think now.

LifeInABox 11-18-2007 08:31 PM

Yes, Deth. I am a loser/loner/failure. There, I says it.

Deth 11-18-2007 08:36 PM

Hey, I am too. Whatever.

Transient 11-18-2007 08:36 PM
I am a loser/loner/failure.
I don't think Deth thinks you're a loser, loner or a failure tbh. I mean, I personally think you may be successful at life, you probably have a fair few friends and you're probably not that much of a loser.

I just think you're an incredible tool.
