I now this isn't the right place but I just got a recording program and uploaded something I recorded while messing around a few minutes ago, its just my guitar playing but becasue i didn't plan it out or anything its very random and with poor timing. My piont being, i don't have the courage to post a link to it elsewhere on these forums and the style probably suits you guys the best, so do you want to here it with sympathetic ears or what?
I'll be sympathetic, you're probably better than me.

Curses, Achilles got shafted. If it wasn't for Dazed and Confused all the Zep fans would vote Achilles, but now it is divided so neither of them will go through.
I need some more Allman Brothers music, and since the god**** site is down I cant sample. I have Eat A Peach and Live At The Fillmore East, any more recommendations?
I highly reccomend the album 'Beginnings' it's their first two albums, (self title and Idlewild South) in one album, for a great price too. Some great songs are on it, my personal fav. "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" ...but I'd also buy the CD just to listen how beautifully "Don't Want You No More" and "It's Not My Cross To Bear" flow right into each other, pretty much one song with a long intro, but I like it.
Yeah, sorry...I miscounted the number of Led Zep songs. I thought there were 8 instead of 9, and only realised there were more songs left then there were polls, yesterday. :upset:
Did any Dylan go through?

Woodstock 11-28-2004 06:31 PM

That's ok, I know your taking a lot of heat about these polls. Some Dream Theater or Metallica song would've beaten it anyway.

Linda Ronstadt, and the chord pogression is Jammin

It'll be a game, you must find out what my chord pogression is, and I'll change it once and awhile.

Illmatic 11-28-2004 06:47 PM

I can't believe "Hotel California" is getting so many votes. It's such an insipid song.

Badmoon 11-28-2004 06:53 PM

I like Hotel California. It's also one of the best live songs I've ever heard.

Illmatic 11-28-2004 06:54 PM

I'm not saying you can't like it.

I cant get this to sound like anything familiar???

Woodstock 11-28-2004 07:08 PM

Ok, this one is a lot harder, I think. Give Am one beat, give G6 one beat and hold it for 3, and give Fmaj7 6 beats.

rokliveson 11-28-2004 07:14 PM

yep
well i think the best band ever was the Beatles. they had more good songs than any other band i've ever listened to. plus all the songs sounded different. no two beatles songs sounded the same. and while their songs were maybe not on the same level as say Baba O'Reily, Won't Get Fooled Again, or Stairway, they still outdo the other bands by sheer number of good songs. i would love to see another band with the kind of talent they had. maybe that's what the music industry needs to get off this rap crap...
first of all, classic rock is coming back. i wasnt around when it was tho, and i just wish i was. im only 12

and yes, the beatles are like the greatest band in the world, but im not a big fan, i prefer zeppelin, VH, and Sabbath(they're not exactly classic rock tho)
But one thing is for sure, rap is gay
