Even if the Sabres don't win, I want Edmonton to lose.

Mattay: The NBA sucks. College Basketball >>>>>>>>> NBA
I watch College pretty much only for Michigan, but if my dad is watching a game I usually watch it.

But I don't really pay attention and what not.

With NBA I pay close attention.

Mute Print 05-28-2006 09:10 PM

I used to like the NBA, but now I find the college game to be a lot more exciting.

Meh, I'd rather watch baseball over anything else.

Pazz 05-28-2006 09:10 PM

Time for me to go to bed.

I get to go to the Holocaust museum tomorrow for history.

NO! Carolina Is gonna kick! Except, Erik Cole (Des Moines player) Is out with an injury

DJ Ducksauce 05-28-2006 09:11 PM

Night Matt.

The Holocaust museum we went to was actually pretty boring despite how much I like studying the topic. Besides heaing about Anne Frank which is pretty boring.

I think I'm out too. Later guys.

Tjebby 05-28-2006 09:25 PM

Did i mention my space has a super cool song on it!?!?!?

Mute Print 05-28-2006 10:07 PM

What an odd night. I just took a late-night bike ride with a friend of mine. He called at like 11 to see if I wanted to go ride around for a while.

Chilly-Bean-Bop 05-28-2006 10:11 PM

Haha. That's cool

You said you watched the Sabres game, right? What was the score?

That last 4-0 game was terrrible, poor Sabres.

BridgeToSolace 05-28-2006 10:13 PM
The Better Forums sucked. Besides, the greatest boards on the net are SomethingAwful and they charge to sign up. I don't think those two things are unrelated.
The Better forums was fun. You shush.

It would raise the age level of people on the forum. That's about it. You should note that Something Awful seems to be (I only gave it a quick glance) general topic forum. That means many people may have incentive to sign up. MX is a music site. And only a music site. The appeal is much more selective. Plus, musicians never have money.

The problem with MX is lack of activity (at least that's the problem in pop-punk). Making people spend money to use the site will not solve that problem. It will make it worse.

Did I mention I went to a local show recently?

It was amazing. I need to go to more. So much better than I expected. The originallity, the musicianship, it was just exceptional.

But it went with friends. You should do that.

Thhhhhe Bettttter Forummmmms Succcckkeked :p

Yeah you're right. But SomethingAwful has forums for cooking, cars, pets, movies, music, TV, games, spam, guns... there's a lot to talk about there. And there's almost no retards!

Hey does anyone want to join my superhero team? I'm Captain AwesomeSuperAmazingTerrific. My cousin is Halo Boy, my brother-in-law is Sunglasses Man, and my younger cousin in Blank Expression Girl.

One way or another I'm going to end up being Porn Man.

So I might as well get it over with.

Yeah, I remember you mentioning that you were going.

If I had friends who liked music, I'd go to shows with them.

Oh, and Jon, I downloaded Kellly Clarkson's most recent album last night.

I still need to get Breakaway.

I lost the rubber earpieces for my Sony earphones, and I'm not happy about it. Now I'm stuck using these old Sony headphones and they are so uncomfortable.

Are they the rubber ones which are detachable, and they fit in your ear, and kind of mould into the shape of your ear because they are soft?
Because I had a pair of them, and lost the rubber earpieces, and I can't be bothered ordering new ones, so I'm stuck with iPod headphones.

And on a different note, my band get to practice for the first time since the week before Easter tonight. This is going to be good, because I've been wanting to play our songs as a band for ages.
And when our GCSE's finish (less than a month), we will be practising every week, and hopefully twice a week sometimes.

Yeah they are detachable, and I'm pissed off because they were so great to listen through. And they blocked out pretty much all background noise amazingly. I emailed this spare parts place to see if they have any, because I'm not taking these to school after half term.

That's awesome Chris. You should record a practice session and post it up here ;)

Those are exactly the same as my headphones, but mine are black.

We were meant to be recording a demo/album before everything went pear-shaped and our drummers dad wouldn't let us practice.
We had won £50 from a talent show and each put in like £30, so that was £170 we had towards recording.
Then we tried to record our practice at Easter, but it was so bad quality that you could hear nothing.

Kif, have you listened to the song clips from TE11's e-card?
So far the album is sounding good from the songs/clips that I have heard. I want to hear the final version of Outside though.

Not yet. I've made a conscious decision to not listen to any songs before the album is released/leaked. I did that with Taking Back Sunday, and the songs from the sampler always overshadow the others to me.

Dead Star 05-29-2006 09:19 AM

I was meant to go see X-Men 3 today, but nobody turned up :(

And it blew you away, amiright?

Listen to Hear Me.

No, not quite. I liked most of the songs that weren't singles, but I can't stand listening to any of the singles. It's probably because I hear them so much.

But, yeah, some of the other songs were pretty good.

Tjebby 05-29-2006 11:30 AM

Can we have cr00sh singalongs to Ashlee Simpson?

PLEASE STOP TELLING ALL YOUR FRIENDS I'M GETTING SICK OF THEM ALWAYS STARING AT ME LIKE I TOOK HIM FROM YA
