ya sorta made me really unproud of that song all of a sudden because I was wondering why it sounded so good to me. The actual music is not similiar, but the structure is almost a complete rip off

I just think that his presence isn't felt on St Anger. You can hear the drums, rythem and bass guitar really loudly but Kirk just seems crowded out. I think alot of it comes from the powerful new sound in the album and perhaps he just isn't a strong enough character to let himself be heard. I'm pretty sure Kirk wanted solos in that album, but he seemed to get persuaded otherwise.

Cliff played that with fingers as well...it's not actually that hard to train your fingers to be faster.

Edit: This isn't to bash Rob btw, Robzilla is my inspiration besides Steve Harris. However, people give Rob credit for playing Battery with fingers when Cliff did it too. :x

Uhm, guys, Battery is fast, but just because on SKOM, Kirk says 'You can play Battery with you fingers?' doesn't mean its so immense. I can play it with fingers, and I am nowhere near immense.

Also, to clear up something from earlier: Kirk played every solo on KEA. He was asked by James to starte every solo the same way Dave did, but then take things how he wanted. If you see some old footage of Mustaine playing Hit the Lights for example, you will recognise the first run, then he will have his own solo - not the one on KEA.

I didnt think St. Anger sucked i thought that there were alot better albums i never will be better than lars and i never said i was i do act maturely and my posts are some what thought out and yes when metallica ruled thye world is on saturday at 9
