I've heard it, still if the entire song is a breakdown, there is no breakdown. If you know what I'm saying.
|
Alot of the hardcore bands write songs that mostly sound like breakdowns. The kids who dance love breakdowns, and when bands want to get popular, they write music that the kids like. Breakdowns can't go wrong.

X One Way X - Generic Hardcore Song

I love that song. I listened to it 945679456 times today. Never gets old.

Semantics. If they recognize that song as a breakdown, they'll recognize breakdowns in other songs. You dig? |
I dig.
|
He digs.

You guys like a life once lost?

I know, I was just bustin' your balls. |
You guys like a life once lost?
I do despite the same slide they use every 5 seconds. |
I know, I was just bustin' your balls.
I know, but I had to unbust my balls. Yeah cb, ALOL are cool. |
You guys like a life once lost?
Kinda sad that they're from here and I listened to them maybe once, and that was their new stuff. From what I understand, the old stuff is amazing and the new stuff is a Meshuggah rip-off. |
Joan Said Please is a great song.
|
Yeah, they soung pretty cool. I think their CD comes out tomorrow. I also saw a picture of Madball and lol'd at that huge hispanic dude.
|
Also, Reach The Sky is cool and I got the new Finch.
|
The new Finch title and artwork is terrrrible. How is it?
|
Terrible like most of their music.
|

The artwork is really weird. The music is alright, alot different from WIITB. Extremely Glassjaw, post-hardcore sound. The album is harder to get into than the poppy tracks of WIITB. I haven't really decided which is the better album. |

Yeah right, What It Is To Burn got me through middle school. I remember rocking out to that one Finch song all the time in 7th grade. The one where the dude just screams something in the beginning.
|
My favorite song by them used to be Post-Script, that was roughly 8th grade I believe.
|
"What It Is To Burn"
My friend told me she always thought he was screaming "shutup (he screams 'she burns')" at the beginning. I cracked up. |
That's because Post Script is their best song!
|
I wish it didn't hurt, hurt like this, to say these things to you.
Classic "Post Script." |

Me and this kid used to go up to eachother and scream SHUTT UPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!. I was so gay in 7th grade. The only band I really listened to though was Blink 182. |
Y'all were prolly singing the Linkin Park song.
|
I jocked them in 6th.
|
Haha, they were my first "heavy" band.
"Shutup when I'm talking to you!" That was tuff. |
LP has always been a guilty pleasure of mine.
|
First CD is still good. Second sucked.
|
I was big on Limp Bizkit too. They were one of my favorite bands in 5th and 6th grades.
if things keep goin this way i might just BREAK YO F'UCKIN FACE TONIGHT |
Definately the best Limp Bizkit song. ^^^
I used to listen to the Biz while I was shootin' hoops because they got me "pumped". |
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE HE SAID SHE SAID BULLSHIT.
|
I was into Limp Bizkit in 4th back when I lived in England.
|
Limp Biscuit, Eminem, Jay-Z and DMX was 5th and 6th grade, in 6th grade I got into ska and punk.
|
You actually spell it Limp Biscuit? hahahaha

A Wilhelm Scream
Betrayed Comeback Kid Marathon it's like 10 bad bands to every good one. H20 too. and the Loved Ones kinda. |
There are a couple bands I might watch out of curiosity, such as Embrace Today AWS, but it's not the best. I'm hoping for a Strife reunion. Also I'm surprised Marathon is playing Hellfest.
|
Bedlight For Blue Eyes, Roses Are Red, and Emery seem increadibly out of place in that line-up.
Same with Today Is The Day. Random (white-belt?) Grind band. Weird *** line-up. |
