The kid who was supposed to come today for vocals couldn't. His parents won't let him drive on i-95. This sucks, I didn't think it would be so hard to find a vocalist.

How can you not find a vocalist in Philly?

I have no idea. We had 2 people lined up so far who ended up not being able to get here because of how far away they were. I wish the 1st kid could've done it, he had experience in a decent band and could get us on shows easily.

I tried starting a youth crew band with the intention of putting out 7"s and selling them on ebay to make mad money. We wrote one song and half of the lyrics turned out to be a Champion song. Plus we didn't have a drummer or bassist.

I could start a really generic metalcore band, which would be real easy for me to write stuff for.

Let's call ourselves xFirestormx and cover Earth Crisis songs.

i just played with my band Sore Throat. we are hardcore punk rock, but the gag is we improv. we never practice, just play shows. its way awesome and it was a lot of fun. now im at home and i just smoked a crap load of buddha. im chillin. its awesome having your own house

we arent quite there yet. this was only our third show. its really fun, but we sound terrible. people seem to like that though

we advertise ourselves as the best AND worst band you will ever hear. and Sore Throat isn't music, its a life style, which is true. we are all practicing communists and live together. random people stay at our house all the time. its really cool
