So no one replies to my awesome posts anymore, lame.

gaslight 02-06-2011 06:23 AM

I refuse to be the top of that fucking list.

fatbandit 02-06-2011 12:18 PM

And just to let you know, 2 pints of milk is about £1, and a loaf of bread is probably about the same, depending what you buy ;p

TALK ABOUT MUSIC JEEEEEZ

Simpleton 02-06-2011 02:24 PM

hi raayl,

I didnt like the guitar tone in your song. it needs to be bigger and more aggroinsane. that having been said, i LOVED the lyrics and the vocals, they were really impressive. good song reminded me of early linkin park.

Spaceman Spiff 02-06-2011 04:04 PM

Our new EP is mastered and sounds awesome. It will be available online by Friday at the very latest. I'm sure you people will have some fascinating things to say about it!

Simpleton 02-06-2011 10:47 PM

what do you mean YOU people?

thats an interesting observation, dan

any particular reason it reminds you of early LP? im a big fan, and obviously its a big influence, but i cant see the comparison, especially cause im so damn vulgar

lyrics are definitely some of the most interesting ive come up with and im trying to devote a lot more time to developing coherent, interesting themes

Simpleton 02-06-2011 11:40 PM

the lyrics dont remind me so much of linkin park as your singing style/melodies reminds me of Chester Bennington, which is good. i feel like this song is a marked improvement for you though.

:53 - the chorus has awesome lyrics. The vocal cuts are pretty fantastic too. i was consistently head banging from 1:26 - 2:13.

i kind of retract my comment about the guitar too, i was listening on shitty speakers and the guitar sounds fine, although not fantastic. Where i really feel like you might benefit is to give the drums some swing/shuffle. not a lot since this is hard rock, but thye just sound a bit TOO programmed. (this might also be because i make weird out of time multi-rhythemic sampled "hip hop" music and swing is my bread and butter)

this is my favorite work of your in a while though... maybe since some of the real old stuff....shackle shrapnel, virus shit....

Epidemechanical 02-06-2011 11:51 PM

man youve been with me since the start.

speaking of that, i made a lot of that shit on microkorg

which i just sold tonight to some guy on craigslist

lol

Simpleton 02-06-2011 11:59 PM

aww, my girlfriend's brother has one i play with it all the time. im trying to sell an airsoft gun, a paintball gun, a gun (WWII japanese bolt action service rifle), and a 1928 typewriter to get some studio monitors and food.

yeah i still have projekt virulent on my computer bitch.

Epidemechanical 02-07-2011 12:33 AM

what old stuff of mine do you have bro?

get on aim and send it my s/n is my username

send all plz

gaslight 02-07-2011 12:34 AM

Fuck there's the difference. The best price for 2 litres of milk here is $2, and a loaf of bread can go from like $1 for the real cheap brands to $4 or $5 for the fancier stuff.

I listened on shitty speakers and they sounded great. Then I listened on a real system, and all of a sudden everything turned to crap.

FunkMetalBass 02-07-2011 02:00 PM

Alright, now I have to go listen to Raayl's stuff.

And I just did my taxes today. Holy sh*t. I'll be receiving enough money in my return to pay off all of my credit card debt that I accumulated mostly from paying tuition.

Now I just need to change my witholdings so that the government will stop taking so much out and I can gain some interest on that beyotch.

Spaceman Spiff 02-08-2011 05:33 AM

4 more days until the new Capital H EP is released. Friday is the day, mark it on your calendars!

gaslight 02-08-2011 08:40 AM

The calendar I bought had it pre-printed.

funkyhoney 02-08-2011 09:21 PM

That's weird, mine did too :S

funkyhoney 02-08-2011 11:44 PM

So, I'm planning on paying a parking fine with $50 worth of 5c coins.

FunkMetalBass 02-09-2011 12:13 AM
So, I'm planning on paying a parking fine with $50 worth of 5c coins.
Only 5-cent coins? They'd better not be wrapped/rolled.

funkyhoney 02-09-2011 12:17 AM
Only 5-cent coins? They'd better not be wrapped/rolled.
Only 5c coins. No, completely loose. I knew they'd have a purpose one day.

I'll take photos as I go, I've just got to find a suitable container to post them in.

FunkMetalBass 02-09-2011 09:29 AM

I think a milk jug could house a thousand 5c coins.

funkyhoney 02-09-2011 05:20 PM

We have milk cartons not.... "jugs".

They fit snugly in a large snap-lock baggie, I'm just wondering if I should put them in some kind of box for ease of postage.

gaslight 02-10-2011 02:17 AM

Hilarious :).

BenJammin 02-10-2011 08:25 AM

I am sick. sigh.

Also, I haven't posted in several days. huh.

fatbandit 02-10-2011 10:56 AM

I will mail you a milk jug just so you can send them in one.

FlamingCouch 02-10-2011 01:30 PM

That's the best way to pay a fine. Absolutely the best.

I paid my way into the grand opening of a movie theater and snacks all with change once... I think I had two two-dollar coins and three one dollar coins, the rest were all 25 cents, 5 cents, 10 cents and 1 cents.

I used all the big change to buy my ticket, and then bought my snacks with a few 5/10 cent coins and about eight dollars worth of 1 cent coins. I literally put the pennies (1 cents) in my mouth while sorting out the other coins. The girl at the snack counter was laughing her ass off and she even took the change I had in my mouth.

I should have made her my wife.

Thonk 02-10-2011 07:16 PM

hello all

gaslight 02-10-2011 08:21 PM

One time a woman in front of me at the supermarket paid for over $100 worth of groceries in nothing larger than $2 coins.

People used to do that at my old work. I'd tell them to fuck off and ban them if they argued.
