purty good. just got back from a local hardcore show. it was alright. the hardcore scene around here is worse than high school with drama though.

nah my city is like a pivotal hardcore city. tons of hc bands come out of here.

I hear that man.

Scene in my local area is betting a bit better I suppose, there's atleast some active promoters now and some decent venues to play. Most of the band's still suck.

My area's known for deathcore and screamo bands in the PA scene, deathcore bands from out of state and out of the area still hit it up a lot, out of towner skramz bands really stopped coming here since The Globe and Jan's Room got shut down. :/

And like Snowing generally plays shows out of town.

Last good skreemo show I went to in the area was Harrison Bergeron's reunion show in August.

yeah skramz stopped coming out of around here in the mid 2000's :(

Boro's not that big so not that many bands come here.

Have to travel to Newcastle, but even then not all bands stop there so I have to go to Leeds or ****ing Manchester.

Like it really pisses me off that Dead Swans never play anywhere in the north.

I hate the whole mysterious trend thing, hipsters need to gtfo hardcore.

There's a trend of that going on now.

Like hipsters who listen to the cramps and the smiths trying to play hardcore.

I mean I like the smiths, but dropping references over 'hardcore' riffs, **** that.

Well, to many people, bands like aerosols, raw nerve, nazi dust and vile gash fall under the "mysterious guy" thing and they need to put out more material. Whether or not they are really considered "mysterious guy", who cares. They make good music.

Exams are nearly done, and I'll be moving back soon.

Phil's finally buying a better guitar, our drummer's getting two kits, one to play shows with and electronic kit he can use at his accommodation at work so he can practise more. And I have a mad back log of lyrics.

Time for me to get stoked about this.

I'm not aware of any of those people that are actually involved in making music like those bands.
