whiteminority 12-23-2006 10:42 AM

How much did you pay?

Matt? 12-23-2006 10:46 AM

whiteminority 12-23-2006 10:46 AM

Well you are a bastard because I want that record since it features Hassan I Sabbah on it.

Matt? 12-23-2006 10:53 AM

it was worth my twelve bucks

RetiredAt21 12-23-2006 11:07 AM

I'm sure it was, Matt.

Luxor 12-23-2006 11:56 AM

Hassan I Sabbah is shitty.

deadohiosky9 12-23-2006 12:45 PM

Justin, I never got a chance to tell you how much I loved your new avatar.

deadohiosky9 12-23-2006 12:48 PM
it's a collection of a bunch of splits and stuff they did, theres a demo at the end i think too.

there is a difference between useful philosophy and the stupid philosophy contemplated between high school stoners between bong hits. i don't see how anything is worth the time, if it doesn't improve your every day life, or even your life at all in the longterm. that infinity stuff is bulls'hit, i feel like even trying to prove it's importance in living life is just douchery in itself. also i didn't say i was apathetic to life's questions, i said i was apathetic to whether i understand life's questions or not. the best judge of reality is your own life. if i can live my life without question, then i have lived a life i understand. that is the way i feel about my own life, and i feel like the more thought spent on analyzing the meanings behind our own doings and beings, the more confusion and general discontent. why would i bother myself with a burden of further questions when i could live life day by day dealing with the basics of life stripped down to just my own self, perceptions, and emotions?
Certainly, perhaps you should look into Existentialism my friend. Sartre, Camus, Kierkagaard, Neitzsche if you're so inclined.

And I've been into philosophy before I smoked pot, and I don't smoke out of bongs or contemplate philosophy in between bong hits, nor has any drug ever inspired by philosophical beginnings.

i wasn't being personal, i meant that a lot of philosophy that people get all worked up over sounds like a ton of bs that kids talk about in their "that seventies show" basements

Yes, this is true. :smoke:

cobert 12-23-2006 01:17 PM

"So youre not talking because of Friedrich Nietzche?"

ROFL HOW ABOUT SOME GUY I KNOW ACTUALLY KILLED A BALD EAGLE WITH HIS CAR A WEEK AGO

AIRIC 12-23-2006 01:20 PM

Haha I bet that fucked his car up so bad. Bald Eagles are massive.

cobert 12-23-2006 01:23 PM

He said he was driving somebody home, then a huge bird swooped down and smashed into his hood and made a really loud screeching noise. He got out, and there was a big-ass mangled bald eagle in front of his car, and there was a massive dent in his hood and the paint was all scraped up.

cbmartinez 12-23-2006 01:36 PM

That kid hates America.

cobert 12-23-2006 01:41 PM

Ive been saying that recently to make fun of him, but ive been saying that he hates freedom.

deadohiosky9 12-23-2006 02:03 PM

That kid is my hero.

Wait....are you sure it wasn't Ash?

cbmartinez 12-23-2006 02:05 PM

Eagles fly into Ash's girth all the time. They can't prevent themselves.

whiteminority 12-23-2006 02:09 PM

Turn him into Department of Wildlife. That's against the law since they're an Endangered Species.

It would make me laugh.

deadohiosky9 12-23-2006 02:09 PM

ROFL THE WHOLE WORLD IS CONTAINED WITHIN ASH'S GIRTH

RetiredAt21 12-23-2006 04:20 PM

Kayo Dot are okay.

Matt? 12-23-2006 04:21 PM

i can understand why someone would think they are ok, but i love them, they are maybe a top 10 band for me

RetiredAt21 12-23-2006 04:22 PM

They wouldn't even be top 50 for me. They have some really annoying songs.

Matt? 12-23-2006 04:23 PM

they don't have that many songs haha, and i like them all. if you don't dig it at all from the start then it definitely would drag

sort of the way i feel about godspeed, and ben loves them

RetiredAt21 12-23-2006 04:24 PM

Kayo Dot seem so arty farty. I'm not really into that.

Matt? 12-23-2006 04:26 PM
