passing time with Boyd Rice videos is always a good way to kill time
I have a Novation Xio but I never use it.
Does that have the Absynth presets incl. with it, or is that just the X-Stations? I've decided V-instruments are a poor replacement. Real instruments > fake ones.

Jaundice 01-30-2010 11:37 PM

that sounds familiar but i'm not sure really. the thing is pretty alien to me. it's at my friend's house right now.

listening to Severed Heads' Side 2 cassette from 1980, this is a total cacophony.

Meatplow 01-31-2010 12:29 AM

listening to Pailhead

also Die Warzau is interesting, even if their first album is a little gay. I should check their other work out

Meatplow 02-01-2010 10:02 AM

the project Acid Horse between Cabaret Voltaire and Ministry is alright.

they only released a 7" single through Wax Trax! as far as I know, No Name, No Slogan

ATM 02-01-2010 10:14 AM

Do you guys talk about noise up in here?

Ventriloquist 02-01-2010 10:30 AM

Yes we do.

Meatplow 02-01-2010 10:33 AM

http://www.last.fm/music/Borghesia

Escorts and Models is pretty good

ATM 02-01-2010 10:33 AM

Any fans of stuff like Drunkdriver or New Flesh?

RetiredAt21 02-01-2010 10:35 AM

Drunkdriver is alright.

ATM 02-01-2010 10:37 AM

They rule live. The room was just a mess of limbs flying everywhere.

Jaundice 02-01-2010 01:24 PM
Do you guys talk about noise up in here?
nah

Meatplow 02-01-2010 04:13 PM

what kind of response is that?

I need some more Whitehouse

Ventriloquist 02-02-2010 04:48 AM

Anybody listened to Gnaw's album This Face? I couldn't really get into them.

Meatplow 02-02-2010 04:49 AM
Anyone heard the new Suicide Commando album?
i've heard its pretty good

I have never listened to the group though

Blindsided 02-02-2010 09:55 PM

Meat you should review that new Suicide Commando album for us!

Edit: Oh yeah and all you should try out Place Your Bet$. Myspace that ****. It's like death metal/electronica/industrial with some post hardcore screams and clean vox thrown in. You can find the s/t demo on some sites, it's like 8 songs.

Meatplow 02-03-2010 01:03 AM

Aye, i've been told to listen to them for a while just a group i've been putting off.

I've been sort of slack on the reviewing lately, you might be lucky to get a review out of me once every 3 months :p I've had a few in the pipeline i've been considering, namely Missing Foundation, The Boyd Rice Experience and Thomas Leer & Robert Rental.

Jaundice 02-04-2010 09:15 AM

ok enough suicide commando

If you don't have this album you're a tool. I literally used to have it on compact disc, and there's only like three physical copies of it in the world.

Meatplow 02-04-2010 10:08 AM

I guess i'm a tool then.

Jaundice 02-04-2010 10:14 AM

go ahead and buy a copy of the japanese import, it's going for five hundred dollars on amazon

and bro get this one too, it's IDM that has been accused of being intentionally kitschy

Meatplow 02-04-2010 10:16 AM

hmm, interesting. i'll look into both, thanks

you should download Yellow Magic Orchestra's Technodelic

Jaundice 02-04-2010 10:18 AM

for clarification the titles are Mouse on Mars - Niun Niggung and Moebius & Plank - Rastakraut Pasta.

i'm about to look up this yellow orchestra

Jaundice 02-04-2010 10:24 AM

yeah this looks golden imma download it later

on a side note, primitive twisted mind reaching out towards shock value. It creates a disturbance because, he's disturbed. This is a worthless wreck. The man is mentally incompetent.

Just tell me when to start

To Mom on Mother's Day

Meatplow 02-04-2010 10:48 AM

I started reading that Suckdog biography btw, I think you'll find a lot to love in this woman.

Jaundice 02-04-2010 03:58 PM

From what I've heard about her she seems like she'd be my type, to an almost absurd extent

Meatplow 02-04-2010 10:33 PM

rape at the bus station

Nepenthe 02-04-2010 11:06 PM
for clarification the titles are Mouse on Mars - Niun Niggung and Moebius & Plank - Rastakraut Pasta.

Jaundice 02-04-2010 11:13 PM

Nepenthe 02-04-2010 11:14 PM

Meatplow 02-04-2010 11:15 PM

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFBPnZe_iMA

I forgot all about this song, it's pretty horrible but occasionally will make a resurgence and get stuck in my head.

Jaundice 02-04-2010 11:15 PM

Yeah get Zuckerzeit and II by Cluster, both are classics

Jaundice 02-05-2010 12:04 AM

this one feels so good, essential noise release

listening to Johanna Went's 7" on Boyd Rice's label, this **** is spaced out.

Meatplow 02-05-2010 12:14 AM

which cluster is that?

Jaundice 02-05-2010 12:16 AM

II

listening to Nothing Here But The Recordings, lol what is this about

Meatplow 02-05-2010 12:18 AM

idk but it's the kind of psychedelic noise trash that really does it for me

Jaundice 02-05-2010 12:20 AM

Yeah you need that Symphone Pour Un Homme Seul record i posted in the recommend an album thread

kinda like this but without all the talking

Meatplow 02-05-2010 12:22 AM

I searched for it before but couldn't find it immediately in a decent bitrate.

I'll take a further look around later. I think that guy had some tracks on that OHM release i've been namedropping recently.

Jaundice 02-05-2010 12:25 AM

yeah he should he's pretty legendary in early electronics

i saw an album the other day that really needs to be namedropped itt but i need to buy it and listen first before i name it because i really need to get this first it looks cool as hell

Jaundice 02-05-2010 12:36 AM

i might have to go ahead and never listen to Burroughs noise experiments again

Meatplow 02-05-2010 12:42 AM

and you say you like bad music
