Work

Of course, you know I drive Toyota. You complimented my vehicle.
I basically wanted 5 spokes and the TRD ones were brushed aluminum and it would have just been a sportier 18" version of the stock wheels (minus a spoke, plus a TRD cap). Then I found the ones by MB wheels (produced by America's Discount Tires- didn't know that until after I bought them) but they were gunmetal grey and went with my paint. So I went with that plus, I was kind of cornered, they were the "last pair" and I could get a "discount" if I acted now. :P I fell for the gimmick, whatever.
I can always try and sell them when I have money for lighter weight wheels.

Darn, I was going to show you my car because they go with the body. I just didn't do the necessary homework before purchasing them.

You can still post them, provided they are not hosted on photobucket.

That just seems to be the only one that is blocked by good old websense

The Brad 10-20-2006 12:36 AM

They are on photobucket.
Are YouSendIt and Sendspace blocked?

I am not really a huge fan of Toyota. I am more of a Nissan person. :p

Also, you could go bigger with your wheels, and it would still look good. Those wheels in that picture look a bit small to be honest. Or maybe just lower your car some? :p

You can find a lot of nice wheels through America's Discount Tire Co, though. I used to look at their advertisements all of the time.

I am a fan of mixing the colours of the wheels and the pant of the car. Like...a yellow car with black wheels--one of my favourite combinations--, white with bronze wheels, and most dark colours with white wheels.

You should tell your company that there's this amazing country on the other side of the Atlantic that believes in this magical thing called "freedom". :p

j/k

Subaru Rally Blue with Gold = Awesome.

I was looking at Black on Charcoal recently, I may make the switch. I am not a fan of anything chrome or gold really.

Yeah they could go larger, but I was planning on lowering the car and then I ran out of money. So that's next on the list once I pay off my credit card and have some positive cash flow. I was really expecting more from my birthday (don't mean to sound greedy or anything).

We're all entitled to our opinions, I know Toyota is sissy. But the way I see it Nissan is the GM of Japan. *shrug*

One Groovin Clown 10-20-2006 12:43 AM

I am starting to get worried.

Last Saturday i bought Tri3ze;s TRB6, he emailed me saying that it would be shipped on the monday. I replied back asking how it was being shipped and the tracking number.

His email back stated that he had been out of town, and that he'd send me the information first thing tommorow(Tuesday) morning.

We'll know it's almost friday and i still havn't got word back from him. I re-emailed him back this morning(thursday) again asking for the tracking number and how it is being shipped.

I sure as hell hope i havn't been screwed out of my money. :(

I agree with you about the Subaru Rally Blue with gold wheels. I love the looks of the Subaru WRX STi, but I would probably remove all the parts already on it, and WRX Sport Wagons. I, actually, would like like a wagon. I would even be fine with just an older Impreza. mmmmm.

The Brad 10-20-2006 12:51 AM

Wagons are truly where it is at.
I don't know why all men fetish them, but they are cool.

Aerodyne 10-20-2006 12:53 AM

I was riding with some friends of mine to a dance and we annhialated a Subaru WRX. Hummers FTW. She did speed ahead of us and try to cut us off. Crappy driving FTL.

Yeah, I don't know why either. There was a Gamer's Edge up in Washington before it went out of business, and the owner had one of the nicest WRX Sport Wagons with the blue and gold.

I don't know what it is, though. Whenever I see one, I can't help but find myself staring.

A Nissan Stagea, though, is not an attractive wagon. :p

dream car right there.

Aerodyne 10-20-2006 12:59 AM

Oh believe me, they suck to drive, but getting in a wreck in one is a very powerful feeling. My thoughts were, "Oshi! Wait, did we actually hit something?" The only damage to our car was a scratch on the rollbar. The subaru was totaled. Very safe vehicle. Personally, however, I would drive a mini or a VW hatchback. I think all men to have a wagon fetish. Mmmm. . . hatchback. . . in plaid! Excuse me while I change pants.

The Brad 10-20-2006 12:59 AM

Sorry, it was for EBE9 since he cannot access Photobucket and filesharing sites at work. :p

Aerodyne 10-20-2006 01:10 AM
Ebola is the common term for a group of viruses belonging to genus Ebolavirus, family Filoviridae, which cause Ebola haemorrhagic fever[1]. The disease can be deadly and encompasses a range of symptoms, usually including vomiting, diarrhea, general body pain, internal and external bleeding, and fever [2]. Mortality rates are generally high, ranging from 50% - 90%, with the cause of death usually due to shock or multiple organ failure[3]
That's what I was getting at. Tasteless, I know, but it isn't the most tasteful car either. Sorry if I offended you, it was in bad taste. My apologies. :thumb:
