Paranoidd 09-24-2004 02:50 PM

I have them too, but theiy're only my reading glasses.

I had them before the whole emo trend though

evilmenhavenosongs 09-24-2004 02:53 PM

By the time I get mine they're going to be past the emo trend anyway. Besides they're reasonably cheap and I need something to wear when I can't be bothered to put contacts in and when I go to Cambodia.

If my eyes get any worse I'm leagally partially blind, it's quite cool actually.

Paranoidd 09-24-2004 02:54 PM

That sucks...do you have those really thick glasses?

Katana 09-24-2004 02:55 PM

The whole emo thing is irritating... My friend and I are making fun of it. I'm his Emo Manager, and I'm coaching him to become the most emo emo ever. It's gonna rock.

Paranoidd 09-24-2004 02:57 PM

My friend finally cut his emo hair (that long look, partially covered eye on one side). He looks four years younger, but at least he doesn't look like a wanker.

evilmenhavenosongs 09-24-2004 02:59 PM

My glasses are a bit over half a cm thick and I got the specially thin ones. I suppose the emo thing's not so bad for me because we don't get emo kids here and I'm a girl so I don't look as ridiculous in the glasses.

Paranoidd 09-24-2004 03:02 PM

Lucky you. I very rarely wear mine, I think I look stupid in them.

evilmenhavenosongs 09-24-2004 03:04 PM

Everyone always thinks they look stupid in glasses but they usually don't. For me, I looked really weird when I got my contacts and didn't wear glasses.

CoopALoop 09-24-2004 03:12 PM

i'm pretty much doomed to wear glasses (not a abd thing but i jsut don't want to) cause every single one of my relatives have galsses and al of tehm got tehm when they wer elike 12 or 14 so far so good im beating the record by 2 years :thumb:

eggs'n'spam 09-24-2004 03:26 PM

contacts rule, i think i have bad eye-sight, any of you know your perscription, so we can get an idea of just how f**king blind you are? mine is -2.75 :D

evilmenhavenosongs 09-24-2004 03:29 PM

Mine's -7.00

Paranoidd 09-24-2004 05:57 PM

Well, I just received a letter saying I've just been convicted of driving without insurance, and I owe the court $6250. Funny, because I recall having my lawyer tell me I was off that charge, considering I was INNOCENT!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to sue this asshole...he doesn't know who I know.

I'm so insanely pissed, I can't even convey.

SofaKing713 09-24-2004 07:00 PM

You can get fined $6,000 for driving without insurence! Thats a bit harsh.

P.S. My 100 post

Kingofdudes 09-24-2004 07:30 PM

God I cant stand old people, and the place where I got attracts them..... Well its money towards a bass...

Paranoidd 09-24-2004 07:50 PM

[QUOTE=SofaKing713]You can get fined $6,000 for driving without insurence! Thats a bit harsh.

$5000 fine plus court costs, 6250 total.. Criminal conviction on my record, too.

Kage 09-24-2004 08:12 PM

I've got an idea, and I don't want to make a thread about it, so I thought it should go in here. It seems like whenever someone makes a thread that's against the rules, it has at least ten replies to it every time! That is unreasonable. If a thread is against the rules, don't post in it to tell that person it's against the rules. That just helps the thread survive longer until a mod can come around and close it.

So, in conclusion, I propose that we make it a rule that you don't even post in an illegal thread, even if it's to yell at them for making something against the rules. Just push the convinient 'Back' button at the top of your browser and wait for a mod to come in and take the necsessary punitive actions (if they're even necessary, seeing as how if no one posts in it, it will just die off anyway). I'm tired of seeing threads float around on the first page for a day when it's just a newbie post with ten replies telling him how against the rules it is.

Kingofdudes 09-24-2004 08:14 PM

That is actually a rule, It just isnt enforced as much.

Paranoidd 09-24-2004 08:24 PM

It's fun to ridicule them, though.

Dancin' Man 09-24-2004 08:37 PM

True and true.

Some people just deserve to be made fun of, especially people who have been members for longer than one week.

Riva 09-24-2004 09:43 PM

Yes, but not as much as those that say, "I've read the rules, but I'm so badass I'm gonna ignore them!"

Dancin' Man 09-24-2004 09:45 PM

I'm really tired. I want to pierce my nose. Time to go flirt with girls with nose piercings to ask them what it's like.

CoopALoop 09-25-2004 11:30 AM

nose peircing eh? i dunno i wouldnt get it i'd probalby get my eyebrow or my labret

superpeer 09-25-2004 11:32 AM

And Muse was awesome, great show, great performance. I'd recommend it.

Kingofdudes 09-25-2004 11:39 AM

I wouldnt mind seeing the darkness live. But I have so little money that I can only see bands I REALLY like.

superpeer 09-25-2004 11:39 AM

By the way, I'm seeing Slayer/Slipknot/Hatebreed next week.

I think Slipknot will be an interesting show, certainly.
