The new ETID song is pretty bad. The album title is really lame too.

In other news, Chevelle is awesome.
*dies*

The only Botch album I could find locally is American Nervoso for $15.99. I've never heard anything by them and dont know if I could take a risk when I'm in debt up to my eyebrows.

Does anyone have one of his CDs they could send me over AIM?

Is it as good as it's said to be! I hear people making comparisons to them with new Norma Jean. ("add x 1000 better" quote)

I just started getting into Botch but from what I heard, that's there best. And it sounds very similar to new Norma Jean.

poprocks&coke 04-27-2005 03:17 PM

wow I just finished watching Napoleon Dynamite with my brothers and my dad.

it's not really what I expected, but it's pretty **** awesome.

American Nervoso seems like a more common find even online. We are the Romans gets the rave reviews though.

I think I'll write a review for O' God, The Aftermath.

1. Murderotica - An allright album opener.
2. Vertebraille - I like the intro and the last 30 seconds of this song.
3. Bayonetwork - Generic radio happy song. Chorus sounds like a nu-metal guy having an orgasm
4. Dilemmachine - Outro of this song is pretty tight
5. Coffinspire - I get bored of this one easily
6. Liarsenic - One of my favorite songs on the album.
7. Disconnecktie - Every Norma Jean song over 10 minutes is an epic.
8. Absentimental - Not a good followup too disconnecktie.
9. Charactarantula - My favorite song on the album.
10. Pretendeavor - Pretty good.
11. Scientifiction - Yawn.

I usually listen to the first 3 songs straight and skip around.

Understanding In a Crash 04-27-2005 03:28 PM

I'd say the new Norma Jean CD get's heavy play time in my CD player compared to what it goes up against.

The Fall of Troy is another recent gem I've got heavily into.

So, anybody else at school right now?

That's a pretty cool rating. I totally agree about 'Bayonetwork." I love the intro but the chorus is so nu-metal it hurts. I liked the epic outro to 'Scientifiction" and I love that breakdown thing in "Charactarantula" where the bass and guitar slide up. I thought "Disconnecktie" was cool also but the songs before and after it are a big blur to me. I like the intro of "Dillemachine" with that high chord thing going. I noticed that Track 2 on Bless The Martyr.., "Face : Face" and Track 2 on O' God... are actually structured the same. High pitched lead with a fast moving, hard-hitting riff underneath. I loved 'Face : Face" and that's probably why I love "Vertebraille."

When I hear the intro to Vertebraille I start jumping up and down like a little girl.
