Hey you know whats cool? 3 of the many movies coming out soon have tool names... theres the most popular "The Grudge", thers another movie, i think its kinda horror-like, called "Undertow", and theres this comedy called "Eulogy".. pretty flippin crazy

Dancin' Man 10-28-2004 08:15 PM

Aenima and Parabol/Parabola are my two favorites. I really like Cesaro Summability too but it's not really a song.

Yeah I noticed that a few weeks ago. Pretty wild :thumb:

The more I think, Aenema is best. Other options are Schism and No Quarter.

I was just listening to Freedom of Choice. A Devo fan i was quite looking foward to its release, after listening im dissapointed but in the anyways, during the "In Ancient Rome there was a poem" what has Maynard changed the lyrics to?

Reverend_Bob 10-29-2004 11:16 AM

anyone ever play the game "The Suffering" ?

if u look hard enough...you'll find a ton of tool references....

for instance: one of the prison cells has 'Ticks and Leeches' scrawled on the wall with spray paint. theres another part where a guy is talking on the radio, and you hear him saying "suck me dry.."

good to know theres some tool fans makin video games

Reverend_Bob 10-29-2004 11:29 AM

anyone good at tabbing?

someone should tab Imageine by APC for bass and guitar

although it sounds mostly bass

but yeah, good song, would be fun to play along with the music

Otherside 10-29-2004 12:49 PM

There's like one guitar part in the whole song, it's not hard to figure out the song yourself :\
what has Maynard changed the lyrics to?
I don't know if this was an actual question, but the lyrics to Jerk-Off changed a while back, removing the references to guns and shooting, and stuff, and inserting "Fuck you in your fucking ass" instead.

Also, Prison Sex got another verse-thing added to it at some point in time. I don't remember what it says though, it's on Toolshed though.
And where might you have stumbled across that?
I just typed in "A Perfect Circle" in the search box in Limewire, and one of the results was them performing Eulogy live. I can send it to u.

dUSK 10-29-2004 08:27 PM

So when do we need to come up with a favourite Tool song by? Or if if has been decided what are we voting for?

Kage 10-29-2004 10:33 PM

Ya I thought the same, but I'm pretty sure its A Perfect Circle.

Dancin' Man 10-30-2004 11:19 AM

Awesome work in the FA

I'm even more ready for a new album now.

Dancin' Man 10-30-2004 11:21 AM

Also might I add that I do now consider Cesaro Summability to be my favorite filler track of all time. If I ever get a chance to release an album with a band that will let me differ from the norm, I will record a baby screaming.

Kage 10-30-2004 12:32 PM
Featured Artist #3 - Tool
yea, 99.9% chance of that
My least favorite is probably Sober, not because I dislike it, but because it's so different from other Tool songs, it sounds more like a normal mainstream metal song. It doesn't show their originality, my favorites are probably Track 8 on Lateralus, Lateralus, Parabola, The Grudge, Triad, and even though it's not completely Tool, since I love the Deftones, when I bought The White Pony, and I saw a collaboration of Maynard James Keenan and Chino Mareno, two of the greatest male vocalists of the new generation, I fell in love with Passenger. :thumb:
YOur least favorite is sober? shame on you!

I love the deftones too!
maybe you can come check out my chrome buckles.... and adjust the mirrors. we could pacify the curiosity of the nights air...whatta ya say?

clearvision 10-30-2004 02:17 PM

I say 'roll the window down'

I was searching A Perfect Circle and I found them playing Eulogy ive, it was labeled: Eulogy by A Perfect Circle (Live Tool Cover). Ill send it to you through gmail. Also I don't think its Tool because it doesnt exactly like Adam's guitar.

Quebec 10-30-2004 06:51 PM

Is TOOL a good band live? I've never seen them on tour so i'd like to know if their shows are kick *** or they mess everything up.

ænima 10-30-2004 10:58 PM
