Members of Vincent Price's..., Bodies In The Gears..., The Concubine. Not grind but I thought you guys would like to see what those guys are up to.

ATTN: My band rocks.

We now have a second show with Heavy Heavy Low Low (our own little minitour. No See You Next Tuesday at that show which sucks). A show with Mass Movement of the Moth. and then a smallish festival with Ed Gein and Robinson. I'm also trying to get a show in june with Despised Icon, Ed Gein and Through the Eyes of the Dead and I was pissed when I missed hookering my band out for a show with The Concubine but I suppose I can't be too grabby.

Unfortunately, the festival type thing is not until May.

Awesome man! Now get some tunes up on your Myspace!

Nevermind... you do have songs now! :-O

That song "A" is fantastic. I'm going to listen to the others after i have a snack.

I actually like this quite a bit. The vocals are pretty.

This could help you guys that are working on blast beats (that haven't seen it already).

I might have already said it here, but Iskra ****ing rules.

If you haven't heard them, their full length, their 7", and their demo are all available for free here:

Everyone should listen to The Heuristic. They have one of the best live shows I've seen. They are tech metalish, but i bet you guys would appreciate them.

The Great Redneck Hope has the best song titles.

Agreed, my favorite is "I dont lift weights to impress the bitches. I lift weights to knock a suckas teeth out."

Gnarmageddon 12-07-2005 03:29 PM

Haha.

I like "Oh My God. Ohmygod. Ohhhhhh My God. I Thought Nailguns Had A Safety"

AIRIC 12-07-2005 03:29 PM
Agreed, my favorite is "I dont lift weights to impress the bitches. I lift weights to knock a suckas teeth out."
Definintely the best song title.

Whoa, Frankenstein! I didn't program you to make out with boys!

Subvert_bassist 12-07-2005 04:01 PM

Most power-violence is like that, haha. From TGRH, I like the title, "Are You There, God? Please Help Me Stop Masturbating". Great song, too.

Swallowing **** has a good one, too: "If Assholes Could Fly, This Place Would Be An Airport".

P.S: This thread is one of the only reasons I even come here anymore.

AIRIC 12-07-2005 04:02 PM

Sometimes I wonder if the song titles have any relevance to the lyrics.

whiteminority 12-07-2005 04:02 PM

true true

Subvert_bassist 12-07-2005 04:04 PM

... No. They don't. I mean, "cheeseburger Karma 2004: A Jam Odyssey"? Nope. No relevance.

AIRIC 12-07-2005 04:06 PM

Well I've never really read the lyrics to some of these weird song names, so I wasn't sure.

Special Brew 12-07-2005 09:50 PM
The Great Redneck Hope has the best song titles.
That's the main reason I ever really started listening to that band, because they had the most kickass song titles ever. The music had to grow on me, but now I'm a huge grind/spazzy/chaotic stuff fan.

Subvert_bassist 12-07-2005 11:37 PM

I've been listening to huge amounts of Spazz, Charles Bronson, Tragedy, R.A.M.B.O., Dystopia, and Code 13. I got the Charles Bronson "Discocrappy", and both the Code 13 and Spazz discographies recently, so that's been spinning, and I have both R.A.M.B.O. LP's and two Tragedy LP's. And Dystopia is just plain good.

Brain Toad 12-07-2005 11:42 PM

Bronson was never something I could really get into, I don't know why.
Spazz and Code 13 are really good though.

Subvert_bassist 12-07-2005 11:48 PM

In my eyes, Bronson and Spazz are very similar; however, there's just something I can't put my finger on that makes me really like Bronson. I just ordered a Bronson shirt; I've been meaning to for awhile. I can't find a Spazz shirt anywhere. I also want a George Harrison shirt. Because they're good too.

RetiredAt21 12-08-2005 12:06 AM

Bronson r00lz. I love them, they are mad good.

Dancin' Man 12-08-2005 09:16 AM

I hear TGRH doesn't play their songs live or use song titles. They just sort of jam them out. I will see when I see them on Jan. 20. I also hear they don't have actual lyrics on the albums. I haven't heard Bronson or Spazz or Code 13. Is it the type of spazzy grind I would like?
