I'm not talking about rnm, rnm is fun. I"m talking about the pit, it's full of immature fags who think they're funny like spoonful and spacecowboy. 95% of it is trash |
PNWI is worse
|
they're both bad but the pit gives me a headache. i stay out of pnwi. rnm has such a better user base. all the worst posters are in the pit
answer my q about what attracts you to frats and how much that outfit cost you
shirt was about 30 dollars slacks were a gift vest was 50 dollars i didnt see your question, i started looking at frats because some of my friends in high school were and met the guys in this house and they were fucking awesome, really eclectic and down-to-earth, and so i joined |
80 dollars for an outfit? that's crazy, sounds like a spoiled rich kid. I'm wearing a shirt i spent 6 dollars on when i was 12, some jeans i got at a thrift store and an op ivy hoodie i've had since i was sophomore in high school. how were the guys "awesome"? they drank and slept around with vacant headed sorority girls? how were they down to earth? their parents bought them every thing and they liked to bro out?
all my encounters with people in frats was that they were loud and obnoxious, wouldn't let anyone that wasn't in the frat come to their parties if they weren't girls, were incredibly shallow and treated women poorly along with poor taste in music and wore really expensive clothes. no one in a frat has ever done any thing to make me think they deserve my respect. You seem to share the poor taste in music (shitty rap) and expensive clothes aspects. You aren't nearly as bad as the people I met at college of charleston though, but I think bros are extremely obnoxious/stupid/shallow. I'm not trying to troll you, I honestly just hate frats. What redeeming values do these behaviors have? why do you like these people? why is what you wear so important? they just seem like douche bags to me. I just don't understand what the appeal of paying money to hang out with people who listen to shitty music, objectify women and are spoiled rich kids is. It's not like you can't drink beer, hang out with friends and fuck pretty girls unless you're in a frat. |
He was obviously joking with the $80 for an outfit thing Mitch. At least I'd hope so.
And Blockhead, I'm far from praising frats but to criticize them on the stereotype that they're all woman-abusing assholes isn't really fair. My experience has been that there are certainly a lot of douchebags in frats but just because they tend to be loud and obnoxious doesn't mean they're somehow misogynists. |
who cares how much money people spend on clothes
blockhead you spend a lot of money on drugs js |
you'll have to excuse mitch he just finished watching the first season of mad about you
|
just generated copypasta
feelin like silverfang |
i'm wearing $200 worth of clothes that i paid for myself, i hate bros, but i enjoy drinking and banging dumb sluts
LABEL ME BLOCKHEAD |
i like how it looks and its warm and functional and go **** yourself you mexican manwhore-****ing douchebag!
|
i like how it looks and its warm and functional and fuck you, ive said before that i am not spoiled or rich. i grew up in a fucking single parent family with a dead father and the only reason my mom and stepdad can afford to pay for my housing is because i go to school on a full ride. so you know what fuck you, you don't have the right to question me or my actions.
i don't care if i'm being trolled, sure i'm mad, i don't need to have my lifestyle questioned by a random person on the internet
Why do you want to hang out with shallow douche bags? You wouldn't be able to hang out with them if you didn't pay money, you're renting friends. |
calling people youve never met shallow douche bags
okay |
you're not in one nor did you ever pledge at one, so obviously you don't know much about them
i did not get hazed i was not "forced to conform" |
do you realize that thats how dorms work
do you also hate everybody who lives in campus housing? |
you're not in one nor did you ever pledge at one, so obviously you don't know much about them
i did not get hazed i was not "forced to conform"
why do you dress like every other fratty guy then? i've been to frat parties, i've talked to at least 30 people in frats and they were all dumb, rich assholes who thought the world of themselves |
do you realize that thats how dorms work
do you also hate everybody who lives in campus housing?
no because that is frequently a necessity to live on campus, frats cost more than a dorm do they not? |
what about after first year? i know of VERY few colleges that force you to live on campus after freshman year. here at KU you don't even have to live on campus freshman year. are the people who choose to do so paying for friends?
my frat costs about as much as my dorm did |
i hate people in frats because they listen to shitty music, dress like assholes, haze pledges and are generally obnoxious. it just doesn't seem like there is much room for individuality
|
what about after first year? i know of VERY few colleges that force you to live on campus after freshman year. here at KU you don't even have to live on campus freshman year. are the people who choose to do so paying for friends?
my frat costs about as much as my dorm did
well living in a dorm isn't necessarily a social thing, you are just paying to live there. living in a frat you are paying to be allowed into the frat parties which is basically paying for friends |
okay good to know
i'll let you know when i start caring i don't personally find any value whatsoever in drugs, but i don't look down on you for doing them |
you are basically paying to get let into the frat parties and have a better chance with sorority girls and feel like your cool cause u hangin out with drinking bros
|
well living in a dorm isn't necessarily a social thing, you are just paying to live there. living in a frat you are paying to be allowed into the frat parties which is basically paying for friends
uh yeah it is, i'm guessing you've never lived in a dorm. people live in dorms because they want to meet new people. |
dude, i don't look down on you, i was just asking you to tell me what you found appealing aobut it because i don't understand. i don't really even have a problem with you, i have a problem with frats in general. like i said you are a lot nicer than almost all the people i have met in frats. i'm not trying to be a dick to you, i just dont understand the appeal of frats when nearly 100% of people i knew in them were cocky dicks
|
the people in my frat are not cocky dicks
there you have it and i don't see how i can be expected to think you're not looking down on me when the entirety of the last page has been you saying that the way i've chosen to spend my college years is something only spoiled rich douchebags do, which is essentially calling me that, when anybody here knows that i'm pretty far from that |
uh yeah it is, i'm guessing you've never lived in a dorm. people live in dorms because they want to meet new people.
i lived in a dorm my first year of college. most of my friends i met were outside the dorm. i lived in a dorm to have a place to stay, i already had friends in the area. |
the people in my frat are not cocky dicks
there you have it
what kind of stuff do they do? like what kind of stuff do you guys do together? i'm just curious. tell me this: is it not true that they wear expensive clothes, spend most of their time drinking and partying and trying to have meaningless sex? |
we watch sports, play video games, hang out, talk about music and shit, do what anybody does
|
we watch sports, play video games, hang out, talk about music and shit, do what anybody does
so you're telling me they don't wear expensive clothes, try to have sex with a different girl every weekend and generally act like bros |
some of the guys dress fratty some don't
i dont think anybody specifically tries to fuck different girls every weekend |
what kind of stuff do they do? like what kind of stuff do you guys do together? i'm just curious. tell me this: is it not true that they wear expensive clothes, spend most of their time drinking and partying and trying to have meaningless sex?
dude...you're a fucking faggot. |
i just don't understand how being in a frat is better than having a group of friends? i mean whats really the difference, i have always wondered that. cause you can pretty much do all the same stuff. to me frats just seem like people in frats are looking for acceptance, so they pay for it. anyone who passes the hazing and pays money gets in and is treated as a friend. that's not how things work in normal groups of friends, i never had to pay to hang out with any of my friends and they never put me through tests to see if i was worthy
|
blockhead did you get picked on a lot growing up?
|
i'm a lot closer to the guys in my frat than i am to almost any of my older friends from high school etc, and this is true even when i go to school 10 minutes from my high school
just the way a frat works, you stay connected long after graduation, and you just get closer to the guys in it i can honestly say joining it was one of the best things ive ever done |
blockhead did you get picked on a lot growing up?
nah man, i had a lot of friends. i mostly hung out with the punk crowd though |
i just see frats as unaccepting. not that i would want to, but hypothetically, if i chose to join your frat and i wore jeans, a choking victim shirt and torn up converses, told them i liked to do pain pills rather than drink and i wasn't interested in promiscuous sex or sports and would rather read comic books, play sega and spend time with my long term girlfriend they would accept me? i highly doubt that.

you've been saying the same thing for like two pages
