I just met a girl on MySpace who's favorite color was AquaBLue, and it's mine too.
I always lose my picks and found them like a year later. I broke the B string on my guitar earlier, but wasn't surprised or annoyed. It had been over a month and the bastard needed to break.
my band had a myspace until i quit and they went nowhere. the myspace is still there and people still comment. its never about our band though. mostly just our guitarist and how everyone loves him. |
Post the link Frued.
Hey Steerpike did you take any film making classes in Highschool? I'm taking film class next year, and I know I'm not going to the same school as you did, but just want an opinion, if you liked it or not? |
Mine is nothing special. It has a really bad picture of me and some fun facts. 8 friends and 4 comments.

i was the drummer. im aware that we rush the christ out of our songs. it was most likely my fault. or my guitarist. he was hella nervous. |
I liked that Lucy song. Your singer kind of reminded me of Robert Plant. But I couldn't make out really what he was singing.
I liked that Lucy song. Your singer kind of reminded me of Robert Plant. But I couldn't make out really what he was singing.
thats ok. his lyrics were crap anyway. i like our guitarists playing in that song. in fact, i lke that song as a whole. keep in mind that this is a recording of our first show. which was our best actually. no time limit = unlimited jamming possibilities. lucy was almost entirely improvised. meh. im over that band anyway. now i need to find someone who can play funk and fusion with me. |

I thought I was going into theater up until the spring of 2004. |
Hmmm, well I can't change my classes, if I don't like it, I'll just deal with it.

I'm such a dumbass. I tried to register on the facebook, and it asked for my school e-mail address, but I failed to realize that it will send the confirmation to that address. Problem is, I can't access my school e-mail when I'm not on campus.
So by the time I do get back to school, the registration confirmation will be hopelessly buried in messages from the summer semester, making it nearly impossible to find. |
That sucks man. Can't you just re-register I mean the email is only going to have a confirmation code right?
|
How would I know? Everyone keeps nagging me to join the site, but they don't tell me a damn thing about it that's relevant. I finally just caved and figured, "I'll register if it just shuts them up."
Anyway, I suppose I'll have no choice but to try again when school starts. If not... I guess I'm boned. |
the facebook is lame anyway, its like an ultra watered down version of myspace, which is still lame, but i am shamefully a part of

And so Riva did rejoice, for he had payed the debt he owed to the evil car owner, and was relieved despite the loss of $1000 hard earned dollars. And Riva did open up the fabled forums, and view many a thread contained therein. And so did he happenchance upon the FG of Neurotoxin. And it was GOOD. However, such was the situation that Riva's house was in a state of famine, and so Riva decided to journey to yon Hungry Jacks, to seek his fortune in a double-whopper with cheese.
Behold, for he did drive in his white chariot, newly repaired and free from any blemish. And he did even procure his burger and chips, and proceeded he to return to his homeland. And Riva did have ye olde Pink Floyd playing on his stereo, and 'lo for it was GOOD. Soon did Riva happenchance upon a red light, and, as all men must do, he halted in his path. Upon a time did two men of dubious nature come walking up the median strip, and amused Riva did notice their inebriated state, and he did laugh. And did intelligent Riva notice the irony in two fellows of darker skin walking past during the mockery implicit in Roger's lyrics of Nazi beliefs. And 'lo, for they did, and though their movements were hampered by the drink of the gods, they did slur uncouth phrasings and did hit Riva's chariot's side door and bonnet. I know I never post here, but I wanted to inform everyone a bomb has gone off in London. Turn on the TV or go online, it's horrible.
|
It's not just 1, it's 7...
This is really not good, however i would just like to credit people in london for not panicking :) I don't really believe this was Al Quaeda, the bombs were too small, it was planned wrongly, if they had set them off half an hour earlier they would have cause more effect, trains would have been busier etc. This wasn't planned aswell as 9/11 or the madrid bombings. Tis a sad day though, may those who died RIP. |
Do they? I can't say I've noticed.
Yeah, they claimed some in spain that were actually Bask (?) bombs... |
Ignore my story, why don't you all....
You can find the big thread in the pit, by the way. |
It hasn't been that bad so far though, has it?
And I wouldn't worry about anything happening at/to the G8 summit. |
Ignore my story, why don't you all....
It hasn't been that bad so far though, has it? And I wouldn't worry about anything happening at/to the G8 summit.
Something like 20 deaths so far. 150 seriously injured. Apaarrently my brother is on stage 3 alert, or something :-/ |
They always claim responsability...
Not even that any terriost cell that does something the news will report Terriosim with a LINK to Al-Quaeda. When it could have been some terriost cell which has nothing to do with Al. Its a better story for the news through if they can some how claim that Al is linked.
The other idea is essentially a much more eerie story, in which an American patrol gets lost in the gloomy, terrifyingly eeire Ardennes forest, stumbles across a German encampment and make battle, in which all but one American is killed. That American is wounded and taken prisoner by the only remaining German: a 16-year-old SS conscript that's scared to death of both his side and the Allies, who has nothing but Nazi dogma to rely on, and who doesn't speak a word of English. The story revolves around the time they spend together alone in the cabin, with the less experienced German holding the gun on the American, and how their communication barrier slowly begins to break down and the humanity in the both of them is revealed once again. I plan to have all the German's dialogue in German so it's enigmatic for English readers, just as it is for the main character. I just don't know how to begin and end it, or what they do with one another. :-/
Cain I don't know where this conversation happened but I read this quote and you have a great idea for a movie mate. Good luck with, just don't be tainted with the americanized view of WWII. I have a few ideas through that might work better. Have the young american soldier keep the wounded GERMAN prisoner hostage. That way the audience who immenditely sees the German as the enemy will see this poor boys life turned to shi t in war. The american holding him hostage will see like I said before because the GERMAN are seen as bad the american will see that he is just like him. Its hard to explain but it would be more meaning full with the German hostage. Think about. Don't nesscarly do the Ardeden forest. Be more creative think of a different instead of the old Band of Brother/Saving private ryan spots and a different world war II spot. I just realise something cool, I know your american and all but the best would be a russian in Stalingrad. In an abadoned area of the city in winter. Even scarier. The reason I think of a russian is because the Russians had so much hate for the Germans and vice versa that way the chacters and their relations would be even deeper when they see past their countries propganda and romours etc. Possible ending: Something happens and a abttle ensures the person who is keeping the hostage side wins and in the confusion he kills his hostage. But it haunts and Scars him for his entrie life. Eg BAttle happen in confusion Russian kills his German hostage but Compeletly shatters him and he can never forget. BUT HEY ITS YOUR MOVIE just my two cents. PS: Heavy Riva again you make me giggle. |

I don't think that it was poor planning. |
Well Tony Blair is flying back to London now
Yeah, but could you expect him to just ignore it? He'll be back there by tonight, most likely, having done his thing in and around London. My main point was that I wouldn't worry about any kind of further attack up in Scotland; the security around the G8 summit would be understandably incredibly high, and now ever moreso with these explosions. Even if they (whoever "they" is) had wanted to try something at the summit, they would have tried it before their initial attacks, wouldn't they? Otherwise all they've done is increase everybody's watchfulness around a target they wanted to hit, which is just a bit stupid. |
I don't think that it was poor planning.
Not poor, just could have been better http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20050707/ap_on_re_mi_ea/britain_explosions_al_qaida Al Quaida say it has nothing to do with G8 |
Depends what their aim was, they have messed up the whole infrastructure + dropped the stock market worldwide...
But if they wanted to kill people, half an hour earlier would have doubled the amount of casualties...Also, the attack on the bus was rather strange, hitting all the main underground stations, then a bus??? |

I don't think they'll try and hit the G8 summit. That would just be foolish. However there are many other targets which, now that I think about it, would be ridiculously easy to hit.
Not poor, just could have been better
If they wanted to do more damage then they could have easily, I think. The fact that they didn't shows restraint on their behalf. Possibly. Refl...They're removing all of the bins from the centre of Edinburgh. |
Not poor, just could have been better
I don't think it was even bad planning, though. In a nutshell - they want(ed) to disrupt the transport systems in London, not kill people. Think about it; sneaking enough explosives onto a train to wreck a carriage can't be much less difficult than sneaking on enough explosives to just obliterate the train and kill the vast majority of those aboard.
Also, the attack on the bus was rather strange, hitting all the main underground stations, then a bus???
That could just be a bomb malfunctioning as it was taken to it's actual target, as (I think) happened with the last exploding bus we had.
I don't think they'll try and hit the G8 summit. That would just be foolish. My old German teacher (one of them) used to talk with us about how easy it would be to carry out an effective terrorist attack.
Refl...They're removing all of the bins from the centre of Edinburgh.
Nice. |
It wasn't poor planning its just difficult with thing like sercuitrity and bombs. Mabye their timers weren't set right. Or a terriost wasn't on time. Not bad plainning and they just probely had a hicup.
