Still Face the Truth. Mainly cause "No More Shoes" is a ****ing great song.
yes
I wonder if they have the same producer/engineer on all of their albums. They sound similar.

that's one of the least impressive songs on the album. such boring lyrics by Westerberg standards.

br3ad_man 10-01-2006 08:50 PM

"Satisfied" is an excellent song and certainly better than "Black Diamond" or "Gary's Got A Boner".

Matt? 10-01-2006 08:51 PM

why no sticky?

Currently listening to some soul odds and ends. Prince's 3121, Jaheim's Ghetto Classics (truly fantastic album on occasion) and some Irma Thomas thing I bought this afternoon. Soul has produced pretty much the most quality consistent musics in the history of pop musics. Best genre forever and always.

there are so many better songs on that subject, not just from the 80s, not just from Paul Westerberg, but from THAT VERY SAME ALBUM.

Brian Eno & David Byrne - My Life in the Bush of Ghosts

It is um...eclectic.

JonM 10-02-2006 03:58 PM

And now for a post in this thread that actually contains something that I'm digging.

I am really digging the new reissue of Black Uhuru's Black Sounds Of Freedom. They really did a great job of improving the sound, and the extra tracks and dub versions are irie.
