Meat Puppets rule.
They fail, however, to surpass the greatness and perfection that is blah blah blah
which, in turn, will never achieve the greatness that is the great googly moogly |
Meat Puppets rule.
this. |
Wrong.
no you are wrong
No, I'm pretty sure I'm right.
kinda late but why would you hate on Meat Puppets? theyre good
I don't think so.
Shut up dei.
Oh, Me is like my favorite song on Meat Puppets II. then Aurora Borealis. then Lake of Fire.
Up on the Sun is great also.
maybe i should get that. i only have II. how is the sound different?
also i really like the song Backwater but i heard the album it's from isn't very good |
Its very different.
Its mostly fast paced, brilliant and complex instrumental psychedelia with catchy melodies. Their albums after that pretty much suck. |
oooooooooooo.. sounds great. i hope the production is good. it didn't really detract on II but more clear production always makes it just a bit better to me
Its a lot better than on II. The bass is actually a main part of the songs on Up on the Sun and bites through everything. You could probably persuade someone whose never heard of them before that they used a drum machine because its almost metronome perfect.
Shut up dei.
Are you mozartv? |
lol no
yeah that is mozartv
man stfu wtf
I tell it like it is
Lake of Fire is just a bad song no matter what. It was bad when Meat Puppets first played it and it was bad when Nirvana covered it. I think Cobain picked it because the vocals were terrible enough to begin with that his would sound just fine.
We're Here is the best song. Ever. |
I agree with your post YD.
Are you mozartv?
Bingo. |
Too High to Die is solid.
is that the newest one?
I didn't ever listen to that. I don't know why. no wait it isn't the newest one is it anyway I like Lake of Fire |
Their newest one came out this summer and its okay. Much better than their 90's stuff though.
the Meat Puppets are just really really over rated
that's Cobain's fault i didnt pay no attention to what he thought
i checked it out for myself and we just happen to have the same opinion! |

We're Here is the best song. Ever.
Both of those songs are good. Lake of Fire is very different from the other songs on the album, but to me it's still a great song. I personally like the vocals on the song, and I also like Nirvana's version. So maybe I just ****ing suck then. |
Up on the Sun is great also.
My favorite, for definitely. It's so good that listening is practically a religious experience. For me, that is. |
