i think they died around the black album cuz they hired bob rock, hes that one guy that takes great tough bands and turns them to modern pop crap, i wanna hear the kill em all, and master of puppets days, wheres the solos kirk

where talking about songs, not albums. there have been plenty of good songs since the black album
for example
- most of the black album, fuel, 2x4, etc

im not sayin bob rocks not a bad guy but he did turn them into a progressive metal band instead of speed metal, and ur rite master of puppets is their best

I don't think Master's their best. It's just everyone's always asking for a new Master.
Personally I think Kill 'em All is their best.
Ride The Lightning's amazing, Master is a great album, and definately a must have in my opinion, but I think Kill 'em All is just.. Better...

I own all their albums, but have never really liked ...AJFA, Self-Titled, Load or ReLoad. But I thought St. Anger was good. I mean, it obviously has some bad points, and I can definately see where people are coming from when they say they don't like it, but I can listen to it, and enjoy it, and that's all I care about.
