Oh and I ran into Chad from Regret From Ruin when I was at work today... they're practicing regularly again, but Marc and Dan (the kids who were in the band who I've known for most of my life) quit... Marc because his current band is touring all the time (http://myspace.com/wearethenewyear), and Dan because he works too much.

So now they have a new guitarist and a kid who does clean singing, as well as my buddy Trav screaming.

Going to their practice on Sunday, shall give downlow on how good Dropping The Cosby Kids Off At The Pool sounds.

VoM has grown on me substantially, they have to be one of the best deathcore bands around, I just don't go around sayin that cause Mappy will ride my nuts hard.

I think with a better producer and less filler, they could eventually rival Animosity.

I like August Burns Red, Underoath (NOT TOCS), a little KsE and All that Remains, Zao, and Living Sacrifice. Also Glass Casket, and not sure if Soulbleed is considered metalcore, but I like their song "Impersonation of Life". Don't really have much metalcore, as much of it is crap.

They're Only Chasing Safety is better than any album any other band on that list put out... aside from Glass Casket.

Wall of Jericho has to be my favorite of the metalcore bands. They are such a sick band and put on an awesome live show. I cant wait to catch them on their tour with Earth Crisis.
