i don't even have that much money. :upset:
anyhow, so i listened to DOTR again, i wish they hadn't edited all Bruce's ramblings out, hopefully they'll be on the DVD

Deth 11-24-2005 03:55 PM

I'm borrowing DOTR from my friend next week, so I'll give my thoughts then.

I'll get the DVD when that comes out for sure.

crag 11-24-2005 03:57 PM

i wish they'd hurry up with the DVD, i'm getting extremely impatient.

King_Of_Terrors 11-24-2005 05:32 PM

I'm gonna buy it when it comes out. I rarely buy DVD's, they are hard to find.

Come on, Purgatory is the best song on Killers! Or at the very least it belongs in everyone's top 5! It's fast, upbeat, and has plenty of cool guitar harmonies and awesome vocals.

"Purgatory" is great. With that album, all 11 songs deserve to be in the top 5.

^^^ that is way too true

Thanks. Now I think it's time for all you Maiden fans to post your favorite songs from the classic, the epic, the essential album that every metal fan should own...yes I'm talking about 'The Number of the Beast.'

This 1982 release brought Saxon singer Bruce Dickinson into the limelight. Everyone has a favorite Iron Maiden album, but this one is undoubtly in everyone's top 3 list. My faves:

1. Hallowed Be Thy Name
2. Number of the Beast
3. The Prisoner
4. 22 Acacia Avenue
5. Run to the Hills

I will count up everyone's votes from all these favorite songs per album, and conduct a "Favorite Iron Maiden Song" poll. Please post..........................:

My bad. Those are completely different bands.

What are your favorite NOTB songs?

ashman 11-24-2005 07:53 PM

1. 22 Acacia Ave.
2. The Prisoner
3. HBTN
4. Total Eclipse
5. Run to The Hills

Notb is overplayed and over rated IMO.

Well this was the first Maiden album I got, and I recommend it to everyone as a starting point because it just works perfectly!

1. Hallowed Be Thy Name
2. Number of the Beast
3. Total Eclipse
4. 22 Acacia Avenue
5. The Prisoner

I also have to say that I really like "Invaders" but it just can't compare to these other songs. Still a great opener.

Now that I've caught you, I just wanted to say...great job with that best singers poll! It should be interesting to see how it plays out.
