would that be a different place than where you normally scrobble? if so you might have to change some settings.

last.fm:

Automatic iPods will only scrobble from the iTunes with which they are synced.

Manual iPods can be synced from any iTunes Library, but you should only use one, as otherwise you will get duplicated scrobbles.

I scrobbled on my old laptop before. I did a final scrobble in that and then set it up to scrobble on my new laptop. I manually manage the iPod and I've always had to manually scrobble in diagnostics.

Yeah I was on XP and it took awhile to get it to work and now I have Vista so God knows how long it will take.

it depends what computer you run vista on

my Dell XPS runs Vista even more smoothly than XP, but if you have an HP or even a slightly older Dell you might be ****ed

if its the most recent version then its a manufacturers probably most likely. Every XPS ive come into contact with thats my version is picture perfect, as long as you dont **** it up yourself

Are ipods the only mps3 player that can scrobble? Or will it work on any?

I've read that you can scrobble a Zune as well.

You can scrobble when using Winamp, WMP, iTunes and Foobar2000 on Windows, iTunes on Mac. Don't know anything about Zune, but maybe that helps.
