Soulseek still won't work for me at all.

munky_magik 01-25-2005 09:04 AM

Slsk works fine for me :)
Today is a day when I'm gonna listen to all of my albums that I haven't really listened to alot, so Far I've been throught Jools Holland, Jeff Beck, and Jaco Pastorius. Now I'm onto LTE so that should keep me enetertained for most of the day

LordDargon 01-25-2005 09:06 AM

I can see one of my wisdom teeth. Bottom left. The bottom right one is swollen, but it hasn't come through yet. The tops ones don't seem to be up to much.

RCA 01-25-2005 09:33 AM

I saw a video in Health class back in 8th grade that had footage of some guy getting his wisdom teeth being cut out. It looked very painful to say the least.

Cain 01-25-2005 09:36 AM

Forget wisdom teeth. I'm listening to "Blackwater Park" for the first time in months, and that's all that really matters. :thumb:

But yeah, I hate the dentist and everything I do while I'm there. I think Robert Klein's "New Teeth" comedy bit sums it up for me.

Cain 01-25-2005 09:47 AM

Here's some cool news: I'm playing at this NYC club called The Bitter End in Feb. with my friend Allyson. She's a singer-songwriter type and doesn't play the same music I usually do, but that makes writing guitar for her more challenging. We've already played at the Living Room in the village. It's pretty neat.

I like Jools Holland. I always seem to miss Later, though.

munky_magik 01-25-2005 10:53 AM

I always catch the last 5 minutes if it's on. The same with top gear.

Arucard 01-25-2005 10:56 AM

Alot of very poor Indie bands who are just riding the wave have been on Jools Holland recently.

Burdcheese 01-25-2005 10:57 AM

One of my favourite programmes - my 3rd source of new music (after MX and looking through people's Amazon lists)

And Jools does seem to know practically everyone...

Bartender 01-25-2005 11:02 AM

When is the show actually on? I only ever catch it by accident, which may have something to do with my failure to watch it much.

Like who?

superpeer 01-25-2005 11:03 AM

Aah, one exam left. I'll be happy when this is all over.

Bartender 01-25-2005 11:08 AM

What's the last exam?

Arucard 01-25-2005 11:14 AM

Blok Party.

superpeer 01-25-2005 11:32 AM

Antropology.

munky_magik 01-25-2005 11:33 AM

methoughts Block Party were pretty good On Jools. I have no idea when it's on either.

Bartender 01-25-2005 11:35 AM

I thought Bloc (:)) Party were also pretty good on Jools. Interpol were better, though.

Burdcheese 01-25-2005 11:35 AM

^^Especially for their first ever TV performance.

Arucard 01-25-2005 11:37 AM

I really dont like soft-rock for some reason.

BludgeonySteve 01-25-2005 11:40 AM

Does that include acoustic folk rock or do you just mean like that crappy corperate ballady stuff?

Arucard 01-25-2005 11:42 AM

I mean The Strokes, Keane, The Libertines etc.
I love Tom Petty, and i belive he is folky rock?

Bartender 01-25-2005 11:43 AM

The Strokes, Keane and the Libertines (particularly and especially The Libertines) aare all very bad, yeah. Interpol and (what I've heard by) Bloc Party are good though.

munky_magik 01-25-2005 11:44 AM

The Strokes have never really caught my ear, bar Reptilia

Arucard 01-25-2005 11:45 AM

Ok. I hate The Libertines so much.
