Thinknig of buying any gear?

i am thinking of getting a half stack, i found a beringer with a head BRAND new for abvout $1300 cdn. but i am only going to get it if i made the band i tryed out for.

2x12 and i think 500w or 600w, do you recomend beringer stuff because i have heard mixed reviews and you have kick arse amp stuff and i know almost nothing about it.

I like most of the Behringer stuff, thier smaller combos are amazing and I've played a few of thier heads and found them pretty satisfiying especially for the price. Though one of thier heads, the model escapes me, was a little lack luster, but overall they make good gear in my opinon.

What kind of band you trying out for?

local shop, i get most of my stuff there. the people that own it are really nice and give me good deals, i got my sr305dx for almost $150 off. and the guy knows so much about guitars, he basicly gave me free lessons on how to defret my four.

Thats what I like about the smaller privatley owned guitar shops, thiers this great one near me, I've known the owner since I bough my 1st bass so when he gets something new in he lets me be the first one to play it and lets me set up the floor modles.

cool, this place usualy doesn't have very much bass stuff, but when it does it is good. it is the kinda place where the floor modles kick and they are the ones that you get. like you grab it and take it to the counter and say "i wnat this" i like it that way, you get to play what you are buying.

I have no shops period near where I live. It sucks, an incredible ammount of ***. I hate it. Crap.

I like to go there and go in the back to play all the new stuff, its really cool. I got to play certain basses before they were supposed to be on the shelves, its really cool.
