No, not really. It's not much of a metal song, I just like it because I haven't been able to showcase my fingerpicking playing very effectively anywhere else. I'm just excited, and enthusiastic. Chris has become quite the guitar beast recently, however, and if he nails "Taste of my Scythe" and if I warble on my vocals it will be pretty for him and not so for me. :)

All the standard leads are quite doable for me, but the solo and one or two quick runs will be very tough. We'll see though. Your highness doing Opeth has me quite excited (and worried).

I used to sing in chorus, and I was pretty good because Les Miserables was my favorite musical and I'd sing along spot-on to all of Javert's parts. Unfortunately, I haven't sung in a while (not since I performed Javert in Les Mis, actually), and so my voice has lost a great deal of its bass range, control, and projection. So we'll see. If I can't get anything that sounds good, I simply won't submit a song. Simple as that.
