sorry for the double-post...
Cause you're from south africa: are you black or white... only interested cause of the Apartheid-history on your country. And it's quite interesting where we are from... now we have america, denmark, south africa and me (austria/poland) :thumb: and all Tool-fans
It that the only thing SA is known for?my God. Ek is 'n boer. i am White :thumb: |
I always liked White Pony. It has a much more catchy, mainstream sound than their other albums. I used to not like the stuff before WP that much. It's growing on me now, though. I listen to Around the Fur on occasion, and I seem to like it a little bit more each time. I'm not crazy about them, but I can definitely understand why someone would be.

äh.... hm... yes!? you learn about apartheid in school; we even read a book about it (do you know "the smell of apples by mark behr (i'm not sure about the author)) and i once know a girl who was from south africa...
Yeah.. And it's funny because I've seen alot of americans in here hinting that they didn't think Tool was very big in Europe, and the new album will change that.. Tool is selling out shows wherever they go in this world
yeah, tool will be sold out in minutes. but to be serious, i don't know if tool is that famous in austria, cause i don't know anyone who is a tool fan. i am the only one :D |

I propose the death penalty for scalpers...with all the "big name" shows, they get at least 25% of the tickets...

I like Adrenaline and Around the Fur the most. I guess I am biased because I've listened to them since the beginning. White Pony is great, and if they kept making albums like that, I would be pleased. I really hope their new one sounds more like Adrenaline or ATF, though. |

Here, Here! I know I'm going to be tampling over people once those tickets hit booths.. Or I might just kill a scalper for his tickets...or badly injure him. One or the other.. I'm such a f*cking fanboy I sound down right weird.. To each his own.. Prying open my Third Eye, ~daniel |
I hope tickets don't sell out too fast.
I got upwards of $150 for my birthday....would that get me a ticket? |
No.
|
Really?
How much are they? |
Really?
How much are they?
WHat are talking about? Tool tickets? Assuming they did go on tour, it would be MUCH cheaper than that. I'm guessing the $30-40's. |
It was a joke dude. :p I imagine more then that though Dude3. Tool would be in the 50s me thinks.
|
Go vote Tool guys.
I thought this was worth a double post. :p |
Sweet, if I'm generous I'll bring a few friends.
|

With my hair, along goes my intelligence. At least I'm a sexy beast now :D . I don't know. I guess they may be. I'm not sure. I think they would be cheaper. I don't really see tickets that high unless its either a festival or Metallica, but I guess Tool could pull them up that high if they wanted to. |
Audioslave is was 47.50 (Canadain..), and Tool are more popular. I think they may be a little more expensive.

We don't have a release date, nor a release date for the DVD (just speculation, of course..)
I would give for at least the slightest audio sample of the new album.. Especially with the thought of their take on Dark/Light, it's going to be f*cking insane.. And yet we're already speaking of how many tickets we're going to purchase.. So much anticipation, and it's tearing at the psyche.. But TOOL lives for it, methinks.. POMTE, ~daniel |

POMTE, ~daniel
I think someone just started that as a rumor. I don't think the band is actually doing that concept. |
That would be sweet if there was 2 disc set, one Dark and one Light.
One Lateralus, one Ænima... sorry... |
That's a good point, where'd that whole Dark/Light thing come from?
|
I think Jake made it up.
|
During the undertow tour my teacher saw them for 15 bucks.
when i saw them for Aenima i payed 25. as for lateralus they varied. I saw them in tallahasee florida for real cheap (like 10 bucks or something) but when i flew to texas to visit my friend, we payed 35 dollars a ticket. trust me dishing out 50 bucks for a tool show is worth it. |
I don't care how much it is, I'm going.
|
It was part of the whole scam thing.
The light/dark thing. |
I don't care how much it is, I'm going.
Me to. :thumb: I'd probably pay up to about 450 bucks... thats all I have at the moment... |
Well they aren't well know in England, it's all about where you come from.
Oddly, I think theys till pack out shows though. Despite, no? media attention. Quite impressive. |
Off topic, but why were the YSI threads closed?
I can imagine quite a few reasons, but why specifically. |
not that it really means anything, but i saw red sparowes last weekend, and asked cliff (from isis) if there was the possibility of a tool/isis tour after they release the album, he said yes, i said mmmmm yes
|
Faith+1, I must ask. You said your teacher saw them on the Undertow tour? Would this teacher happen to be named Mr.Brubaker?
|

Ah, you saw Red Sparowes? How were they; I've been dying to see them live. Their debut is one of my favorite albums of this year, or any year. |
