i was watching MTV Icon:metallica and avril lavinge sung "fuel" and it cracked me up that my mom said she ****ing cant sing!

That MTV Icon is old. I wonder what Metallica was thinking at the time though... a bunch of horrible bands covering their songs. Well, it was probably agreed upon purely for the publicity. I think they did it around the time of St. Anger, or leading up to it's release.
