The biggest thing that is currently bugging me on that is the stupid college bullsh*t going on here.

Lately, the black student group on-campus, Harambe, has been pushing for various agendas, such as an ethnic studies program (which we don't really need as we already have classes devoted to such a topic), claiming that the absence of such programs is indicative of institutional racism.

Just a few days ago, they asked Student Senate to pass a resolution saying that a certain space on-campus would be devoted to students of color, where they could meet without any white people allowed at all.

It makes me really upset that neither side seems able to see much reason. I'm toying with the idea of talking with Harambe's president, who I knew well last year, to ask what the rationale behind these decisions are, because right now it looks VERY bad. :(

I think the skinnier guy sounds more likely. Come to think of it, I do know a bigger black guy who had some good stuff about being careful not to get accused of anything by a white woman. I don't know his name, though.

This Tony Woods I know did almost all of these fifteen minutes on being a scared black man in Australia, and he was good.

Ah, yeah, that's him. I have his special on my computer, I think, and I saw him on Premium Blend and Comic Remix (half-hour sets of stand-up clips for the latter, and three comedians doing short sets for the former, in case you don't have them where you are).

I just got a new soundcard. Huzzah! Man, I didn't realize how much I was missing out on with my old one. There was a real bad hissing with my old card, but now it's nice and crisp. Plus, I can now record in real time instead of with latency. That's the main reason I got one.

Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 4. It was a real pain to install too. I got a nice deep cut on my right middle finger. Makes it kind of hard to alt pick at a decent speed. :upset:

Just got back from a little show, they had a Metallica cover band there consisting of all like 12-15 year olds and they were excellent. There was also a FOB cover band, except they weren't a cover band.
