I'm trying to learn, but so far F is a killer.

F is tough. Luckily it's really easy to sound like you play guitar if you just play C, G, and D over and over with different strumming patterns and progressions.

I hate all F and B chords. My fingers do not like the second fret.

Sweep picking is pretty lame.

Yeah it's way easier to root note on bass and sound like you're doing a good job than it is to play guitar and have it sound like it's being done properly.

Bass is equally complex when you get beyond the most basic of technique though.

this is alt/indie, all of our favorite bassists cant actually play bass (especially if they're girls)

Radiohead was really good on Sunday but Nissan Pavilion is the worst fuc[COLOR="Black"]king[/COLOR] venue in the world. Their traffic patterns are retarded so we missed Liars and the first 4 Radiohead songs and then missed the encore, and then we were stuck in the parking lot from 10 to 1am. Plus it was raining like crazy. I looked on the event page on last.fm and apparently a lot of people didn't even make it there.

That's what happens when you go see Radiohead.

i used to argue with my fourteen year old sister about her listening to diarrhea than i realized that when i was fourteen i listened to nsync so i dont do it anymore.

I know a friend who browses Pitchfork. He showed it to me before I ever heard about it on here or understood the fact that it is so stigmatized. I just thought it was cool that there was a site that reviews music I had heard of.

i mostly read blogs, occasionally TMT but their good reviews never deliver so i dont read it much.
