On second thought DoG you might like their earlier stuff better so try Bored and Root. I'm not sure though.
Will do. Tomorrow that is. I'll report back then. Thanks BTW. :thumb:
Playing Triad and the fillers will only make you want to give in.
Your right. :upset:

Let the Tool fast continue... I think you guys should join in on this, actually. :)

Moses 09-06-2005 09:59 PM

The earlier stuff is a little more raw, underproduced, and more aggressive.

Anyway this time I'm actually off to bed, I just had to burn a cd.

Darkness 09-06-2005 10:00 PM

I'm off to... I can't wait to listen to Passenger tomorrow...

Hearing Maynards voice again = sex for my ears...

Huber 09-06-2005 11:00 PM

One of my buddies is willing to take me and a few others to the next Volto! show. It's gunna be awesome.

Reywas 09-07-2005 03:59 AM

Volto owns toOL bigg time man.

repcak 09-07-2005 04:55 AM

i'm off for some hours and 4+ pages are written... but at least we have a great new thread name :thumb: its just wonderful!!
But like I said, it's the people who think that Eier actually literally translates to "balls" or "testicles" that get on my nerves, not those that realize they are using slang/joking.
Eier are in german balls/testicles and its not a slang, its the common use! in the context of the lyrics from "die eier von satan" it has to be translated to "eggs", but who knows what maynard had in mind when he wrote it... maybe it has a second meaning (equivocal)
Germany is a beautiful beautiful country..
:amaze: i have seen much more beautiful countries... though i wasn't everywere yet...

clearvision 09-07-2005 05:22 AM

Eww, was there actually a vote on the name change? ? :-/

'Die Eier von Satan' is a recipe for marihuana-cookies and maynard sings "no eggs!!!" = "Keine Eier"

Crudd-Bucket™ 09-07-2005 05:44 AM

Crudd-Bucket™ 09-07-2005 05:45 AM

The hot tip for anyone in Australia...Tool are rumoured to headline next years Big Day Out...that would be pretty sweet!! Anyone else heard anything like that??

repcak 09-07-2005 06:43 AM

i hope only that if tool will go on tour the tickets won't be sold out in minutes... well, but i'm sure that will be the case... lucky me i have a fast internet connection :D :D

Prince of Darkness 09-07-2005 07:25 AM

When the tickets go on sale, I'll buy one.duh. but the real problem here is. I have to pay for the airline tickets, hotel fees and like for food aswell. But i'll get my fukin ticket.....

Prince of Darkness 09-07-2005 08:30 AM

oh,... thats right. old cities, that's true...
to the mountains: i live in the Alps... when i look outside my window i see mountains which are 1500metres high :D
well, now i moved to a bigger city to study, so i don't see them often.

denboy 09-07-2005 09:50 AM

That link didn't work :/

And some of my family in austria has the most amazing view I've ever seen.. If they look out of one window, they see this huge city, with an old fortress up on a mountain (I can't remember the name of the city because I suck at geography).. And the other way is a huge beautiful forest with mountains behind it...

denboy 09-07-2005 10:04 AM

I love how you can tell me wich city my Oma lives in before I could.. Haha :upset:

Prince of Darkness 09-07-2005 10:05 AM

I live in Stellenbosch, South AFrica. It's a small town. The oldest one in SA. It it surrounded by Mountains and it's quite the looker. Kinda like your place, Repcak. Look Stellenbosch up on the internet if you wish. :p

BTW: plz don't double post. :thumb:

EDIT: ^^^Oma? Like grandmother? explain.

denboy 09-07-2005 10:08 AM

Like grandmother... Yes

Prince of Darkness 09-07-2005 10:10 AM

Seriously. what country you from?

denboy 09-07-2005 10:12 AM

I'm from Denmark.. But my grandmother is in Austria, so naturally I don't call her anything other than Oma?

Prince of Darkness 09-07-2005 10:14 AM

Holy shi.t Oma...I thought that was quite South African to say that. But we spell it Ouma. I'm in shock. Oma?in Denmark?

denboy 09-07-2005 10:18 AM

No, it's german/austrian

Oma in denmark = Mormor, or farmor, depending on wich side of the family

Prince of Darkness 09-07-2005 10:20 AM

oh, cause german is quite close to Afrikaans. so we might have some of the same words.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v510/Mullet/omgToolskin.jpg

what did you think of my Tool skin?

repcak 09-07-2005 11:14 AM

sorry for the double-post...

Cause you're from south africa: are you black or white... only interested cause of the Apartheid-history on your country.

And it's quite interesting where we are from... now we have america, denmark, south africa and me (austria/poland) :thumb: and all Tool-fans

denboy 09-07-2005 11:26 AM

Yeah.. And it's funny because I've seen alot of americans in here hinting that they didn't think Tool was very big in Europe, and the new album will change that..
Tool is selling out shows wherever they go in this world
