Jens Kidman is a god among screaming vocalists. :-D But to me, every pic I've seen is scary.
Rock City
Where? /Ignorant

Syncratic 07-24-2005 04:17 PM

The one I saw in Hit Parader, he looked like he was grunting, with his arms at his side like a caveman.

Nottingham.

5 times voted by Kerrang as the best rock venue in the country

Syncratic 07-24-2005 04:18 PM

I live in America, but what I've heard about Kerrang has led me to believe that it sucks.

Adam Jones is GOD 07-24-2005 04:19 PM

Yeah, kerrang sucks for anything informative.

However, Rock City rules. And i've been to a few gig venues

clearvision 07-24-2005 04:19 PM

Hmm, that would be a mission to get to. However i would probably drive because i wouldn't drink that night...(woah me driving, what a prospect)

It'll be in london though, do they normally only play 1 show?

Lol @ Kerrang...example

Week 1 - 'Good Charlotte pop-punk kings that have your feet tapping to music.'
Week 2 - 'Good Charlotte, the epitamy of bad rock music'
Week 3 - 'Good Charlotte's debut, one of the best CD's this year
Week 4 - 'Good Charlotte - This years music catastophe'

Sometimes they even change their opinions in the same issue, it's great.

This year they have an obsession with MCR/The Used. Like most girls that listen to semi decent music (with the exception of the two pre-mentioned bands).

Yeah..Kerrang sucks, I get my news from Riva's monday mayhem, though i could probably do better looking on blabbermouth, and other places not associated with roadrunner

Adam Jones is GOD 07-24-2005 04:22 PM

Last time, they did Ozzfest here, and 2 nights at Brixton.

Kerrang sounds like Revolver. Pretty bad.
Kerrang sounds like Revolver. Pretty bad.
Hit Parader's worse.

It's so outdated and is the main reason so many bands are overrated.

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-24-2005 04:23 PM

Revolver is semi-informative sometimes.

Mr Herb 07-24-2005 04:24 PM

All rock magazines suck. I havnt found one yet worthy of anything.

clearvision 07-24-2005 04:25 PM

Hehe see edit for me moaning about Kerrang.

Darkness 07-24-2005 04:25 PM

Back to Meshuggah for a second, wasn't it said that "I" and "Catch 33" were just experiments and they were not going to be played live?

Syncratic 07-24-2005 04:26 PM

I have found that the Internet is more reliable than music magazines.

But, the Internet believed 'Teleincision,' so a contradiction is in order....

Mr Herb 07-24-2005 04:28 PM

I believed it, sorta do now. Heck even Q magazine belived it

Syncratic 07-24-2005 04:29 PM

Hey, guys, I'm listening to Merkaba now...who's that guy who's saying 'Without judgement' over and over again?

Huber 07-24-2005 04:29 PM
Back to Meshuggah for a second, wasn't it said that "I" and "Catch 33" were just experiments and they were not going to be played live?
Yes, but Meshuggah is still touring. They are doing Europe right now.

Darkness 07-24-2005 04:30 PM

Oh ok...

Syncratic 07-24-2005 04:32 PM
I believed it, sorta do now. Heck even Q magazine belived it
Even though it originated on the Toolband forums, I wouldn't put it past the band to come up with it and circulate it.

It'll tie in real well with their 'Think for yourself, question authority' message.

MOJO.

I searched long and hard, and am now fulfilled.

Adam Jones is GOD 07-24-2005 04:33 PM

Internet > Magazines.

Cheaper too. Plus my mailing lists keep me informed of all rumours worthy of talk

Thats pretty high for a tool forum. Do people share usernames to get that average up?

Mr Herb 07-24-2005 04:35 PM
Thats pretty high for a tool forum. Do people share usernames to get that average up?
LOL I dunno but 70 is way low, near retardation :p

Whats Mojo?

Dude3 07-24-2005 04:36 PM
LOL I dunno but 70 is way low, near retardation :p
Technically, I think it is.

Syncratic 07-24-2005 04:36 PM
LOL I dunno but 70 is way low, near retardation
Nah, I think that IS retardation.

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-24-2005 04:36 PM

During Merkaba, I think it's Timothy Leary.

Syncratic 07-24-2005 04:37 PM
During Merkaba, I think it's Timothy Leary.
At the beginning, probably, but at the end the guy has a rally deep voice.
