Yea that's true. Probably half the reason I hated the album so much is that the demo (id rate about 6.5/10) and the hype surrounding the album got my hopes up. I rated the album about 2/10

Bolt Thrower's good but because they've stuck to their sound so long they can't go anywhere. I like the way "Cenotaph", "Embers" and "Powder Burns" start almost exactly the same. Nothing's really worthwhile after ...for Victory.

Well, to me they're the kind of band where you only need to get one or two albums and you're good. But those one or two albums are good for a solid display of ***-kickery.

Yeah, I was a fool to buy so many - they're all the same but maybe if you're a big fan of that style and you're sick of the albums you've got it's worth buying more.

Well the first two are different from the rest. Maybe perhaps the first 3 albums are worthwhile.

Ah yeah, they were grindcore or some **** to start? Or just hardcore? Or what....I forget. I guess I should look into those, if for no other reason to hear what's different. But first I should go to bed, since it's almost 5am.

It's still death metal but there's quite a bit of grind influence in there and the production is raw. From metal archives it's not very popular but I still like it even though it's rather short.

I dig the early grindy stuff.
