forest whitaker's lazy eye really gets me going

Iai 05-09-2008 06:51 AM

House is funnier than every show mentioned on this page, and it's not even a comedy.

niobium 05-09-2008 07:23 AM

house is great

scrubs is my personal hell

br3ad_man 05-09-2008 07:31 AM

You know what's weird, the American Office. I've been watching it through...the first season is worse than awful, the second season is actually really good, but then in the third season it gets average and silly.

dei 05-09-2008 07:32 AM

Yeh.

perriwinkle 05-09-2008 07:36 AM
yeah but scrubs is funny and good and two and a half men is a lame sitcom like king of queens or george lopez gets a job.
scrubs is possibly the worst comedy on television you dumbass

Jacaranda 05-09-2008 07:46 AM

charlesfishowitz 05-09-2008 01:49 PM

i tried to astrally project myself today.

Tyr 05-09-2008 01:50 PM

To great success, I gather?

charlesfishowitz 05-09-2008 01:57 PM

key word being "tried"...

it was my first time, so i tried to project myself somewhere easy....a desert...i wouldve picked a ladies locker room, but that seems too advance for a noob like me..

anyways, it failed, i almost passed out, and i ended up where i started..

naked in an empty bath tub whilst cupping my balls.

Time 05-09-2008 03:10 PM

Om, Dinosaur Jr, Lilys, Mercury Rev and most importantly Yo La Tengo got added ATP. I really want to go.

samariah 05-09-2008 03:12 PM

oh nice. keeps getting better, especially yo la tengo

Time 05-09-2008 03:20 PM

i might actually go if i can get a ride from my friend, i just have to convince him to go.

I'm sick of downloading albums and then finding out they're at 160kbps or something low like that. I've gotten used to 256 and I can tell the difference.

charlesfishowitz 05-09-2008 04:44 PM

samariah 05-09-2008 05:00 PM

you cant expect to reach the astral plane without some srs dedication

charlesfishowitz 05-09-2008 05:11 PM

samariah 05-09-2008 06:43 PM

perriwinkle 05-10-2008 12:41 AM

alright so i just got back from Polvo's first show in ten years

they were ****ing ON. i had only heard Shapes, so i didnt really recognize anything they played. the bassist was selling merch and he said most of the **** they were gonna play was from the Celebrate ... Ep, and the dude next to me said that that and Shapes were "their peak" and then remembering that he was right next to the bassist haha he looked up and corrected himself "ONE OF their peaks" it was pretty funny. and i asked him which was written most cohesively as a whole piece and he said the Celebrate EP so i was like alright bam, got that and a tshirt (sweet shirt ill add). they either have a lot of reeeally long songs, or they planned the set really really well and mixed a lot of the songs, because itd be continuous music for like 15 20 mins at points... some of the best **** i've heard live at parts, just when they'd sometimes switch into something absolutely perfect. theyre pretty spastic so you get a little of everything. never too noodly though. not the MOST amazing stage presence, but whatever i'll give them a break. also, a first for a concert hahahh: the singer/guitarist had an easel type thing up with all their lyrics!! ahhaha and he would flip the page after every song. hilarious. one of the other guys called him out on it at one point in the show. but when he was singing it really didnt seem like he was reading off of it or anything so it worked. some of th ebest parts were when the drummer would half-time it and they would go into some like, leafy and lush jam with all these bends and minor tonalitieees and really good counterpoint. alright i'm done with this

sgrevs 05-10-2008 01:52 AM

I've never listened to Polvo but they sound cool.
